ADNAN OKTAR: On the way here, I took a look at a report in the newspaper; a brother of ours was troubled with some certain people who committed a crime or some potential people who might have committed a crime, being kept under arrest. Yes, it is true that a Muslim is compassionate, that is right. He really has a sense of pity, he is forgiving. All right; but there are Muslims around the world, who are sentenced to life imprisonment, those who serve a life sentence although they have done nothing wrong, solely out of their views, their words. Until they serve their life imprisonment, they are held captive for years until stand trial. Then they are sentenced to life imprisonment and they serve it submissively. Not saying a single word about these and using such a compassionate style in order to be appreciated by some certain others, so as to make them say, “Well done”, makes one to be a bit doubtful. Is it really a sincere compassion or a political investment, an effort for courting favor? Is there something beneath, beyond the unseen? It makes one a bit uneasy. But at all costs compassion is very beautiful, love is very beautiful. But compassion that embraces everyone is beautiful, one widespread. A compassion that embraces everyone; I do not accept elitist compassion. I feel compassion for that person but do not feel the same for another. I forgive that one, but do not forgive the other. A mindset that says, “Let them serve their imprisonment as much as they can” for a Muslim, with a reckless expression full of hatred. A buttering-up mindset, engages in a show of compassion when other people are in question; I do not properly understand this. No doubt we want compassion to be widespread. But forgiving a murderer should not be something under the initiative of an ordinary person.  May be the family concerned can forgive; a personal exemption might be acceptable. Right? For this reason if the exemption of a gang that is determined to murder millions of people is in question; if their release is in question, that would raise some suspicions in me. That is because, if you release the edge of a whole; then you need to release the whole. Right? You will either let none of them out or release all of them, Insha'Allah. And what is more, the most serious part is that, those who do not turn a hair when Muslims are concerned. Those who even ardently make statements against Muslims; employ a particular style in order to court favor with non-Muslims, with those who do not lean towards Islam. This raises some doubts in me. But of course I can not be one hundred sure of a person's intention, Insha'Allah. Let me put this first..
