ADNAN OKTAR: That is because, for instance, I feel in my soul that love is a very nice thing; to love and to be loved are very nice; art is nice, telling the truth is nice. Lying suffocates and bores me and I get disturbed. A person who tells the truth relieves me very much. For instance, he is telling the truth every time; how great it is! It is great to talk to him. I mean he never lies, think about it; there is someone in front of you who never tells a lie. For once you can make full brain contact with him, which is a great thing. How is someone who lies? He wears a mask; it is as if you are talking to a lunatic. You ask; "What is your name?" He says; "Necmi." Actually his real name is Abdullah and he says "Necmi" .. You ask; "Where do live?" He says; "In Konya" but he actually lives in Erzurum. My brother this is like talking to a lunatic; how mind-numbing this is. Right? I mean this is something like a nightmare, it is really scary. Allah wants us to be honest, how nice. Look, what does Allah want from us above all other things? He wants us to be sincere. A sincere person is such a nice, such a beautiful thing.

For example, a sincere woman is a great blessing if she is his lawful spouse. That is great! It would make your heart sink; it is such a great thing if she is sincere. But if she is not sincere, she can be as beautiful as she wants, but still she would like a pile of flesh for you. Sincerity is a great thing. Allah says in the verse, I seek refuge with Allah from the satan, "But as for those who... act rightly, they will hopefully be successful." Look Allah gives sincerity as the sole measurement. There is only this and no other. "But as for those who.. act rightly, they will hopefully be successful." For once, sincerity is food for the brain and it gives such comfort. Do you know what the problem of men is, the reason why people are devastated? It is insincerity. The reason of discomfort is always insincerity.

For example, do you know the reason why we become irritated when someone is talking? It is his insincerity. For instance, he makes a compliment, which is snappish and insincere. You make a compliment; he returns the compliment, but it is insincere. He asks a question but again is insincere. So you become irritated with that artificial person. If that person is sincere then your soul opens up greatly, as it is it's food. In Heaven everyone is sincere and they all tell the truth. Allah reveals in the verse; "They will not hear any prattling there." But it exists in here, we come across insincerity.
