OKTAR BABUNA: "Every self will taste death." Everyone is mortal and everyone will taste death insha'Allah. "We will test you with both goodness and the things that you would experience as a test for you" Allah says. It is certain that some things will happen to us to be tested insha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: My brother, if we are going to the Presence of Almighty Allah after being tested here and performing good deeds and if we go there as people who have performed good actions and enter into the eternal life, what else could a person want? If he or she has earned the good pleasure of Allah, right? They seek to hold on to this world like holding on to a hedge. No, no, no... There is nothing in this world. We came here for a short test. The world is created in specifically with difficult conditions. Right? For example, a person wakes up in the morning and Allah created people especially helpless. For instance, a woman tries so hard to groom herself; a person tries so hard to groom oneself, right?

Allah created life to be difficult. For instance, He compels us to sleep for eight hours. He or she sleeps and goes to a different realm. And there is very little time given here. It is not a place to hold on to like crazy. Everyone is responsible to look in a more rational and deeper way. Even a child would understand that we are here to be tested insha'Allah. Therefore, death is a blessing for a believer and it is a beauty as it is the beginning of eternal life. But a believer will of course pray to Allah for having a long life in order to serve Islam. Because the longer the life of a believer, the more service he can offer in the way of Islam, the more he can serve the Qur'an. It is nice for a believer to die in goodness after serving for a long time insha'Allah. However, it is also nice if Allah keeps it short; it is also a blessing and goodness insha'Allah.
