Excerpt from Live Interview with Mr. Adnan Oktar by Kocaeli Tv (3 September 2010)
OKTAR BABUNA:You just recently explained that hypocrites are related with satan and that they make friends with satan. I am reading the related verse; I take refuge in Allah from the satan; "They took the satans as friends instead of Allah and thought that they were guided."
ADNAN OKTAR:It does not attract attention much; and some of the Muslims does not confront the slanders made against our Prophet (saas). They remain silent. I press this issue much. Tomorrow I will press it more comprehensively, I will talk about it these days. Those people occupy themselves with the love our Prophet (saas) had for women. No matter which Internet site of atheists we visit, they discuss this subject. Our mother Zainab saw our Prophet (saas), she saw his morality, his beauty. In her heart she had love for him. She wanted to marry him. Our Prophet (saas) also liked her. He liked her morality, her personality and beauty. He also wanted to marry her. Allah says that she was already in his heart. But our Prophet (saas) acted cautiously so as to prevent any harm that might come from hypocrites and unbelievers. That is, he did not express his opinion out in the open. Allah said that he was abstaining, that he was feeling embarrassed. But the Almighty Allah says that He is putting it out in the open. She got divorced. Our Prophet (saas) continuously told them to continue the marriage, not to get divorce. But Allah told our Prophet (saas) that he wanted it in his heart. She got divorced and got married with our Prophet (saas). She was a very intelligent person. A Prophet comes only once and if a woman wants to be with him all her life, why should she lose this right? Why should she be obliged [to remain with her former husband]? And Allah wrote him to her. How beautiful this is.. We are proud of this attitude of our mother. We congratulate her. May Allah make it blessed. But some hypocrite Muslims find this disgraceful. I take pride in this, this beauty of my grandfather. This beautiful attitude. I welcome this love and compassion he feels for women. I do welcome that.
