Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview at TV Kayseri, Samsun Aks TV on June 30th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: "Master As-salamun alaykom." Alaykom salam. "The unbelievers have set traps to and oppressed believers in every period. However, Allah has showed His help and support for the believers always." Insha'Allah. "One of these is the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) being thrown to the fire. In the Qur'an, it is revealed that the fire was cool and safe for the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). Does that show that he did not die there? Does this not cause people lose the free will of mind? You would know better insha'Allah. Hakan Aydin." It does not. I mean, how could that happen? For instance, they can light a big fire. They threw the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) into the fire using a slingshot, just to act psychopathically. Maybe from 10 meters or let's say they threw him into a 10-meter field using a slingshot. There could be haystacks burning there. Something like that, right? Therefore, in terms of the place he falls onto; it would be an incident that would not cause them to lose the free will of mind.
If we were in the location of the incident, then I would not need to explain it. This happens because we were not there. It would not cause any one of them to lose the free will of mind, including the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). It all happens as it should be. I would give more detail but I do not want to go into that now. I am guessing how it could have been in a way that does not cause them lose the free will of mind. But I do not want to say it; I do not want to give details. However, they should know this; they would understand how it if they were there. That is the same in the event of the seas splitting into two for the Prophet Moses (pbuh); it did not cause any one of those to lose the free will of their minds; on the contrary they raged when they got across. Right? Samiri went and built an idol made up of gold. They went and worshiped that. People are generally not affected. Nothing happens that would cause one to lose the free will of mind.
