Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Kocaeli TV dated 4 June 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: Allah reveals, "Most of them turn away and do not hear," (Surah Fussilat, 4). Allah creates a community that will power not listen to the Qur'an. Normally, a person would not have the will not to listen to the Qur'an. That is, for instance, a great miracle. For instance I read the Torah and the Gospels again yesterday; they are both very complicated. In other words, both are very convoluted and it is really hard for a lay-man to benefit from that source. For that reason, in order to provide ease, we prepared this book, Wisdom and Sound Advice from the Torah. If the ones who would like to learn about the Torah refer to this book, they will encounter no confusion and attain direct, as well as sound and clear knowledge.
However, the Qur'an is a great blessing. I am startled when people do not comprehend the Qur'an. Because the Gospel -for instance I have read the Gospel too yesterday- [it] is very hard to understand, it is confusing and very complicated. Great effort and attention should be given in order to find to the wisdom and beauties in it. There are also highly complicated and erroneous parts in it. One needs to find an association to each one of them.
Yet, the Qur'an is pure revelation, free from any error or shortcomings. What an amazing ease and what a great blessing.. And you directly access clear knowledge. Elaboration of a certain matter in the Qur'an is straightforward. For instance we see that any message inside of it is fulfilled exactly the same way after 1000 or 1400 years.
But we see that what is explained in the Gospel is totally in conflict with science. That is unquestionably inconsistent with reality because it has been changed. The same is relevant to the Torah also. We notice that it is in total disagreement with science and with truth in many points.
Therefore, for a Christian, a Jew or a Muslim, the Qur'an is a Book that no one can leave behind. All must definitely conform to the Qur'an if they want to understand Allah and the other Books. As a matter of fact, if a Jew desires to be a perfect believer, he must definitely be a Mohammedan and abide by the Qur'an. Otherwise, it is not possible for him to truly understand the Prophet Moses (pbuh). It is not possible for him to accurately appreciate other prophets, either. He would only understand them with many flaws, errors and mistakes and that would not be acceptable. Insha'Allah
