ADNAN OKTAR: "When they are told, 'Come, and the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you,' they turn their heads."A hypocrite does not accept a leader. They also do not accept obedience, neither do they accept a person being superior to them, they do not accept a being superior to them. They did not accept our Prophet (saas) in his time for instance and as you know the hypocrites established a separate masjid. Notice that; "When they are told, 'Come, and the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you,' they turn their heads." They do not want to look; they do not want to go close to him. "And you see them turn away in haughty arrogance." Hypocrites are amazingly conceited. Notice that Allah draws attention to this attribute; "And you see them turn away in haughty arrogance." That is they try to avoid Muslims, try to stay away from them and finally they do not talk at all and cut off their relations completely. But notice that Allah draws attention to their "haughty arrogance". This is an attribute peculiar to them. Every hypocrite distinctly has a high opinion of himself. They do not like one another, never like one another. But each thinks that he is the greatest. Their pride is weird; to the extent of insanity. It is one of their determining features, one of their explicit attributes. But they try to hide it under the appearance of modesty. I mean they need that. Since the hypocrite is clever, he strives too hard to hide himself. They disguise themselves under a fake style of modesty; but from time to time their disbelief and depravity overflow from their mouths and they are thus understood. They are discovered from those "overflowing points"; otherwise it is not comprehended. Allah says, "Hatred has appeared out of their mouths." We need to pay very much attention to that. Allah states the point to which we need to pay attention, the overflowing point. And, "When he is told to have fear of Allah, he is seized by pride.." Indeed, having fear of Allah is one thing a hypocrite would never accept. They are very proud; therefore they do not fear Allah. But they seem as if they fear. All-Mighty Allah says here, "seized by pride." He once again stresses the "pride." Hypocrites are amazingly proud. They have a disbelieving pride; the pride of disbelief enwraps them. ".. which drives him to wrongdoing." That means it directs him to attack Islam and Muslims. All-Mighty Allah says,"Hell will be enough for him! What an evil resting-place!" Hypocrites are beings created to remain in Hell for all eternity.
