ADNAN OKTAR:  Bilal now says, "Master the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) married that woman who sent him to prison; why do you criticize her?" My brother, this woman attempted to rape an innocent, immaculate Prophet; that is for one. She attempts to rape him. Secondly, she slanders him. Thirdly, she causes him to be imprisoned for seven years. What if they martyr him in prison? What does seven years of imprisonment mean? Is this not a grave form of torment?

OKTAR BABUNA:It is a grave torment, Master.

ADNAN OKTAR:Right? He says, "You cannot say that. She is my mother." She is your mother according to what? He does not know. My brother, the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is a sincere believer fearing Allah; he would know whom to marry. That woman approaches him with lust, she does not love him. Would a person who loves for the good pleasure of Allah get him imprisoned for seven years long, just because he did not have sexual relations with her?

OKTAR BABUNA:Of course not, Master.

ADNAN OKTAR: Seven years, that is seven years! I mean people get sentenced to that long in homicides and so. Right?  What did he do to stay in prison for seven years? The woman does not do anything and forgets him; she forgets about him for seven years. She does not even care. It depends on her to get him out of there, if she wanted to. Seven years. Right? He is already forgotten in prison. She does not even know or care. Why would the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) marry such a woman? What would be the purpose? What could be the aim? Right? The woman only wants to approach him at that moment with pure lust and wants to engage in sexual relationship. The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) does not want to and she uses force against the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) and slanders without a second thought. "She is my mother. Do not say anything against her." She is not our mother. There is no such person. The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) did not marry such a person. There is no need to put forth such imaginary claims. Where did you get the idea that she is our mother? Is there a source? No. Is there a hadith? No.

ADNAN OKTAR: "This conforms to and is based on literary types of story." These are such tales and legends. "As a matter of fact, Zulayha did not leave a good impression. As understood from the verses of the Qur'an, Zulayha did everything evil she could to deviate the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) from the right path. She struggles to deviate him from the way of Allah, justice and the truth. It is certain with verses that she lied and did all sorts of tricks to achieve this." It is certain with the verses of the Qur'an. It is also unlawful in religion to lie. Slandering is also unlawful, right? Are we going to say "well done" to this? Of course what she did was ugly, insha'Allah. This is a sickness. "Marrying such a woman would harm a Prophet's honor. The Prophet Joseph (pbuh)'s marrying such a woman is against the meaning of the verse Almighty Allah revealed in Surat an-Nur, 26: "Corrupt women are for corrupt men and corrupt men are for corrupt women, Good women are for good men and good men are for good women." Corrupt women suit corrupt men; it is said like that to shorten the sentence in translation.
