ADNAN OKTAR:The hypocrite is under a severe tension. Almighty Allah points this out in the Qur'an and says "like being raised to the sky" so there is very severe pain and even an inclination of suicide in hypocrites. That is a state of severe depression. It is revealed in the verse, "earth became narrow for them, for all its great breadth," I seek refuge with Allah from the satan. This usually happens with people who want to convert but this also happens with hypocrites. There would be great pain, trouble and tension. Day and night of the hypocrite is like Hell; he suffers a lot. However, a believer's guilty conscience is something different. So there is trouble and discomfort with a believer's guilty conscience but he turns if he has a character of a believer. However that continues as constant severe pain when the hypocrites are concerned and that misery continues. The hypocrite has the pain of not being able to defeat. A Muslim has the pain of guilty conscience so he feels the pain of "Why am I doing this? Why am I making this mistake?" Therefore, the earth becomes narrow for them.

But in hypocrites, there is the pain of not being able to reach his target and to harm Muslims. They think that they were not able to do that due to their incompetence and for that reason they suffer the same pain. There are many verses about the pain hypocrites suffer. For instance, it is revealed; "you see those with sickness in their hearts looking at you with the look of someone about to faint from fear of death." That is because of the severity of the pain he is feeling. Look; "with the look of someone about to faint from fear of death." What does being "about to faint from fear of death" mean? It is like a person who is about to enter into a coma. Allah says that "they suffer that much." Therefore, Allah says in the verse "let them die with their anger." That anger they feel destructs their bodies severely. For example, it destructs their brains and bodily organs and disrupts his blood pressure and cholesterol. For example, it causes deficiency of blood, stomach diseases such as stomach cramps, digestive disorders. The hypocrite is under very severe tension. Therefore he is very aggressive inside that aggressive tension of his. So the hypocrite's aggressiveness increases as he is in more pain and therefore he begins to act in an insane, uncontrolled and imbalanced way. His stupidity increases even further then, his evil stupidity. For example, he begins to do unsteady and stupid things. His inclination towards crime increases. In the end, he enters into a head clash until he destroys himself. He hits his head to here and there and destroys himself. The Qur'an points this out in great detail and very finely. Such sections considered as narrow are actually very wide.
