Adnan Oktar:"Allah named you Muslims before and also in this (Qur'an)." For example, the Prophet Abraham's (as) people were adherents to the Prophet Abraham (as); if someone would ask "what is your religion?", they would say "we are Muslims praise be to Allah." When someone would ask to Jewish people "what is your religion?" in  days of the Prophet Moses' (as), they would say "we are Muslims praise be to Allah". If the Prophet Jesus' (as) apostles were asked what their religion was, they would say "we are Muslims praise be to Allah". That is to say all are Islam, meaning the religions brought by all the prophets are Islam. Notice that Allah says; "Allah  named you Muslims before and also in this," in the Qur'an. He says "your name has always been Muslims".

Presenter:Not as Christians then Master?
 

Adnan Oktar: All were Muslims, that is, Christian is a name they are later called.

Presenter:So they were named Muslims in the days of the Prophet Jesus (as)?

Adnan Oktar:Their being Christians is right. Christ is the name of the Prophet Jesus (as). They also call him Jesus. By attributing to his name; that is, Christianity, people who adhere to Jesus are called Christians.

Presenter: So thepeople who were adherents to the Prophet Moses was called Jewish?

Adnan Oktar:Yes, they are called Jewish, but also called "Christ", so word Christian comes from Christ to the Prophet Jesus; but their actual name is Muslim. During the time in which that religion was practiced in its true form, they were all called Muslims. But people should always follow the next true religion; for instance, Jews should have followed the Prophet Jesus (as) when he came. That is, they should have been Christian Jews.

Presenter:Would Judaism not end?

Adnan Oktar: Judaism would still continue. For instance, I also am a Jew, I follow the Prophet Moses (as) as well. There are many verses in the Quran. At the same time, I am a Christian, I obey what the Prophet Jesus (as) says as mentioned in the Qur'an. And I love him, he's my prophet as well. Why should his mission end? It continues insha'Allah. But I am a Mohammedan; I mean one should definitely abide by the next religious law. When one becomes a Mohammedan, he would also be following all religions anyway. We also are the people of the Prophet Noah (as),  that is we also are  subject to the Prophet Noah (as). Do we not listen to the of Prophet Noah's explanations? There are verses in the Qur'an regarding the orders and explanations of the Prophet Noah and we follow them also. I mean these are the orders Allah declared us by way of the Prophet Noah (as); we follow them as well.

Now if Jews were to be Mohammedan;  they would have been excellent Jews at the same time. That is, if they want to be true Jews, they have to become Mohammedan. If a Christian wants to be true Christian, he definitely has to be a Mohammedan They cannot be that unless they become Mohammedan.

Presenter: Did the next religions come after the distortion of the previous religions? For example, first there was Judaism. After it was distorted and the people not followed it, came Christianity which was then distorted and Islam came.

Adnan Oktar: Yes, it was altered and distorted. Christianity has four books, proof of its distortion. There are four books. There should be one true book, not four books. When we look at the Torah; we ask if the whole Torah is revelation, they say no and how much we ask, they say very small part at the beginning is revelation. Can such a book be true? The true book should consist of revelation. For example, the Qur'an is totally pure revelation. Also distortion is clearly seen in the Torah. Because, verses about the Hereafter are taken out; nevertheless we found many verses about the Hereafter in the Torah. Back at the time, not suiting their purposes, atheists took out those verses. They could not believe in those, so what do they do once they fail to believe?  They take out those parts according to their own erroneous minds;  and by that they show an atrocious courage. For example, could the Prophet Jesus (as) ever say "I am Allah"?  He is the Messenger of Allah and is so fearful of Allah,how can he say so? He eats, sleeps and prays to Allah. He says Allah is only One. Can such a person say "I am Allah"? They say he said. Allah explains them that this is wrong. For this reason, one has to become a Mohammedan and learn about the true Christianity from the true and last religion. True Christianity is in the Qur'an. They suppose that if they become a Mohammedan, they would be detached from the Christianity, from the Prophet Jesus (as). They will become true Christians in such a way that the Prophet Jesus will be happy with them, will like them and Allah will like them.

For instance, Muslims are true Christians, all Muslims are and this happens only if they are true Mohammedans. How can one not like the Prophet Jesus (as)? He is our prophet, he is very dear to us. We wait for him with love and enthusiasm. Who does not like his own prophet? The Prophet Abraham (as) is our beloved one, of course we are the people of the Prophet Abraham (as), of course we subject to him. Almighty Allah says; "they follow the pure natural belief of the Prophet Abraham who is a man of pure natural belief." There is a verse in the Qur'an to that extent. Allah says; "They follow the pure natural belief of the Prophet Abraham who says Allah is One." So we, the Muslims do follow the pure natural religion of the Prophet Abraham (as) and we are the true people of the Prophet Abraham (as). For this reason, one who wants to follow all prophets including the Prophet Adam (as) should definitely abide by the Qur'an.

A follower of the Prophet Jesus is also obliged to follow the Prophet Moses (as) and love him anyway. One who follows the Prophet Noah is not the follower of the Prophet Noah unless he loves the other prophets. For him to be a follower of the Prophet Noah (as), he should love all prophets including the Prophet Mohammad. Since they do not understand, they panic and say "we cannot be detached with the Prophet Jesus (as)". Who says get detached with him? We even say "love and embrace him more." We show you the way to love him truly. But you say he is Allah; this hurts the Prophet Jesus (as), he would be uncomfortable with that. When you say a prophet that he is Allah, could he become happy? He would be offended. How could such a thing be said? What will his position be in front of Allah?

Allah questions the Prophet Jesus and he says "I did not say such a word my Lord'. I take shelter in Allah from satan, "If I had said it, then You would have known it," says he.The Prophet Jesus (as) will be subjected to the questioning of Allah because of their such behavior, insha'Allah.

For instance, look, I am opening a random page from the Qur'an. Bismilllah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim. Almighty Allah says, I take shelter in Allah from satan,"Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Say, 'Then produce ten invented surahs like this" That is, bring any ten chapters like the Qur'an. Allah says this for 1400 years. Allah says if you claim it is not from Allah, if you have such a claim bring something similar to this one! US has CIA, FBI, scientists and computers. Allah says " do it", but they can't. I mean it is not at all possible. Nothing similar to the Qur'an can ever be prepared. They can't make it by imitation. Some people have tried but it was very obvious, they had nothing similar. The Qur'an has its own music, a unique manner, and a unique method. It is an excellent creation that doesn't conflict with science and logic. No one can ever compose that manner, that harmony and that expression; and Almighty Allah mentions this as a miracle in the Qur'an.
