Could you explain that hadith? There is a  hadith which states 'When Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) sets foot on Istanbul, a fire makes the night like day'. I do not know whether it is exactly like this, you would know better insha'Allah. The incident in 1979 is the petroleum catching fire I guess. Do we understand that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) was just born or set foot to Istanbul? How old could he be now? Have a nice evening. Sedat." Our Prophet (saas) says that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) came to that holy place in 1979. In short he says "When you see that fire, know that the leader of Muslims had come to that holy region". He says "He laid foot there, he came there." Therefore, it is not about his birth. Various guides talk about his birth; they explain it. They have such statements told through inspirations or through the signs of the hadiths or the numerological (abjad) calculations from the Qur'an, by saying Allah knows the truth. However Hazrat Mahdi (a.s.) will begin his duty at an age between 30 and 40. Then they can calculate; since he has started his mission in 1979 when he was at an age in between 30-40, if we say that he was 30 then.. right? I mean he would thus be 30 years old at that time.  Let them think accordingly how old he would be by now..Right?
