Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on TV Kayseri and Samsun Aks TV dated 15 December 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:Imran Ahmad Sajid, a research professor from the University of Peshawar in Pakistan: "I have a question for the worthy Harun Yahya, and would like to learn his views on the following subject: the concepts of determination and free will in human nature, the concepts of destiny and making determinations regarding the physical world." Now, people always want to be independent in the way that Allah -May Allah forbid- is, many people are like this; they want to make decisions of their own free will and to act freely.
For one thing, for something like this to happen, that person would have to be Allah, may Allah forbid. It is impossible. There is only One Allah and He sovereigns everywhere and everything. He is the infinite before and infinite after. He created time but is Himself beyond time. He created time for us. He created it for the entities that perceive it. The infinite past and infinite future are all over and done within a single moment, that is an infinitely short time, in the Sight of Allah. For example, take our brother who wrote this, Imran Ahmad Sajid, research professor from the University of Peshawar in Pakistan. The fact that our brother would be in Pakistan, that he would be a professor at the University of Peshawar, that his surname would be Sajid, that his name would be Ahmad, that he would be Imran Ahmad; were all preordained before the Prophet Moses (a.s.) was born, and it was ordained in the Sight of Allah that he would write this message and that the message would reach me in translated form. There is a letter N here at the end, and here is a letter I. All these letters’ places are predetermined in the Sight of Allah. There is a letter F at the end, and a letter I here. These will never ever change, this letter was exactly the same even in the time of the Prophet Adam (a.s.) , there was no difference. But the professor wrote it of his own will. He wrote it himself. I mean, nobody forced him to write it. But he wrote it in the infinite before and the infinite after. It was written within a single moment and was over and done with.
