ADNAN OKTAR:My brother, people assume that when we say "Mahdi" we are only talking about that individual's flesh and bones. The system of the Mahdi means the happiness, joy, peace, security, pleasure of the world, justice being settled; Mahdi is the name used for the summary of hundreds of main topics. So we cannot count them separately every time. The happiness, comfort, freedom of the whole world, showing respect towards women, showing affection towards children, showing respect towards elderly, social justice being applied, forming economic prosperity, everybody loving and fearing Allah very much, their understanding the Quran as is due, showing love and respect towards the People of the Book, their being respectful; we call the total of these the system of the Mahdi. Now when one says "Mahdi" this does not mean that a person will come and reign all; they should not raise this issue over and over again; there is no such thing. Hazrat Mahdi (a.s.) is going to spend all his life with struggle; Hazrat Mahdi (a.s.) would have no need for something like that. He is a person who serves for the good pleasure of Allah and Hazrat Mahdi (a.s.) has no power anyway. Allah is the One Who creates the power in Hazrat Mahdi (a.s.). Some people are attempting idolatry about that issue, as if power belongs not to Allah but to Hazrat Mahdi (a.s.). Allah makes Hazrat Mahdi (a.s.) His instrument. Allah sometimes talk from a bush and manifests in it. He is a person whom Allah appoints. He is a guide servant of Allah. But the system, which will be established, is essential. Insha'Allah.
