ALTUĞ BERKER: Astagfirullah Master. Today,Kanat Atkaya from Hurriyet Daily wrote an article; he had gone to a place with Ahmet Hakan, E.O. and some other managers from Hurriyet. They got together for dinner and drank wine. The subject was why wine is unlawful.He is saying that he told a legend about the Prophet Noah (as). He noted the legends (Allah is beyond that) he mentioned, in this article. He is talking about legends claiming that invention of the first wine is based on the vine planted by the Prophet Adam (a.s.) and on some legends (Allah is beyond that) about the Prophet Noah (a.s.).

ADNAN OKTAR: My brother, wine is like spoilt food, which contains a high level of methyl alcohol. Just the spoilt food disagreeing with the person; just like a spoilt fruit harming the body. Right? Spoilt fruit harms human body. That spoilt juice of that fruit harms human body as well. When I can drink fresh and nice grape juice, why would I drink its spoilt juice? It also has an awful smell. For example, it causes bad breath to people who drink it. It repulses me; it has a very strange smell. But the real issue is its destruction on the liver and brain. Because it is a substance that destructs the liver greatly and also the brain; and it destroys millions of brain cells every time. I mean, that's because after a brain cell is destroyed, it is not produced again. It is destroyed once and it does not come back. Every glass of wine consumed destroys millions of brain cells every time. Why would someone do this? Almighty Allah made it unlawful. Drink sherbet, drink fruit juice. They are very nice. Why do that?
