ALTUĞ BERKER: Master last week in Egypt, there has been an attack towards a church. Following the attack in which 21 people had lost their lives, Muslim citizens had attended the ceremony in front of the Abbasid Cathedral held by the Coptic citizens.  While the Coptic Christians were celebrating Christmas, the Muslim community among which there are many housewives, intellectuals, journalists coming from all over the country gathered around the church and formed a human shield. Muslims gave statements saying "we do know that we are not safe but we will either live all together or die together."  The Christians voiced their contentment saying "Our Muslim brothers came to protect us". Muslim religious functionary gave messages of unity and solidarity, insha'Allah. 

ADNAN OKTAR: Bigots are laying such a ground by constantly encouraging enmity towards Christians and Jews. Egypt also has bigots who are enemies to Christians and Jews.  These are people who want all of them to be annihilated, hang and cut, these are people who constantly instill hatred in public. Note that the Muslim community in Egypt have showed a very beautiful attitude and said "seeing that they will kill you, then let us die all together".  They cannot kill them, they cannot do anything. Christians are entrusted to us, they are entrusted to us by Allah. Jews are entrusted to us, they are entrusted to us by Allah, they are in our trustworthy hands, they are under our protection.  We would not let any harm on a single strand of their hair.  But I have been saying this all the time; Islam is the true religion. There is nothing to discuss about this. The true religion is Islam. There is no religion that would give relief to the heart apart from the Qur'an, in the true sense.  Okay, we have for instance marked the passages that are true in the Torah, the original ones and collected them into a book. We did the same with the Gospels. But you can get this Holy Book [the  Qur'an] with your eyes closed, like bread; open it and read wherever you like; it is correct and pure revelation.  There is not even a word, a letter added. What a comfort! Which one has been changed which is not, how could a Holy Book be like this? How can a religion be like this? Could a Book darken a person's soul?  Holy Books should enlighten people. What I said is true. The man says; "I want to be a true Christian" Okay, accepted, you be that. We too are true Christians but you can only be a true Christian by being a true Mohammedan. A true Mohammedan meaning if you completely abide by the Qur'an and the Messenger of Allah (saas) and accept him as a true Prophet and if you implement the Qur'an as whole down to its letters, then you would already become a true Christian, a true Jew , a true follower of Noah (pbuh), Abraham (pbuh), Jacob (pbuh), Elijah (pbuh), you would be the true follower of all of them. If you deny one of the Holy Books, it wouldn't do. For instance we do accept the Torah, but the original parts, we accept the true parts of it. We accept the Gospels, but the true Gospels. Now, in the End Times, the originals of the Torah and the Gospels will be found and this discussion will be completely over, insha'Allah. The original Torah, original Gospel  will be found in the time of the Mahdi (pbuh). With the coming of the Jesus Messiah (pbuh) this subject will be solved fundamentally.
