Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Kahramanmaras Aksu TV dated November 8th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: "If they deny you, say, 'I have my actions and you have your actions. You are not responsible for what I do'."Look; this is the summary of democracy. "I have my actions and you have your actions. You are not responsible for what I do and I am not responsible for what you do." That is all. This is one of the clear explanations of democracy. Some people say that democracy was founded before. People learnt democracy from the True Scriptures, from the Prophet Abraham (pbuh), from the Prophet Noah (pbuh). They learnt social justice from the Prophet Noah (pbuh) as well. They learnt sharing from again the True Scriptures. What did the Prophet Noah (pbuh) do? There was little chickpea in the ship, some lentil; in the end the ship ran ashore and there was very little food left; some grapes, some figs, little cracked wheat. He said "Bring and stir all of them" and he had them all put in the pot, boiled them and the result was a delicious pudding. Insha'Allah. Noah's pudding originated there you know. They all put it on their plates and ate. Look, this is an example of social justice. Right? Equality, easiness, benevolence for everyone; the importance of distributing food to people. What was the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) doing? His visitors came, he immediately cut a calf, got it cooked really well and offered it to his guests in a nice way. He does not know them; they just arrived. Allah shows us in the Qur'an that serving food to people, giving a feast is a nice behavior. We see this in the Prophet Noah (pbuh), we see this in the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) and we see this in the verses of the Qur'an. We should try not to eat alone as much as possible; and try calling and eating together with the poor and the needy. Right?
