ADNAN OKTAR:We do not engage in vain demagoguery. Some people create a completely different frame of mind in Muslims through [inculcations of] ignorant scholars. First of all, we want everyone; the Christians, Jews, irreligious, atheists, materialists, capitalists, fascists and everyone else to become Muslims. Some are bringing forward ignorant scholars and have them present these people [Christians, Jews, irreligious ,etc.] as cursed, lowlife creatures and thus they want to make people believe that these people should only be crushed and insulted. That is not what Islam tells us to do. Islam tells us to approach them with compassion. For instance one of them steps up and says; "let us hang them, cut them", "let us curse them"; that's the mentality. In fact Jewish people are entrusted to us by Allah. We are charged with striving to make them Muslims.  They tell me; "How can you go and preach the religion in Israel? How can you communicate the Oneness of Allah and the invalidity of Darwinism?" Those people are making an issue out of this. And some simpleton minded people listening to them believe them. They believe that the religion cannot be preached to the Jews. They believe that the religion cannot be preached to the Christians. If you are preaching the religion; is it possible to say "O you the unbelievers, come along I will preach you the Word"? Of course you are to use compassionate words. Of course you are to speak respectfully. These people ask me; "how can you talk to them like this; all compassionate and respectful?" How is it possible to say "O you the unbeliever I will make you believe!"? Would that man ever speak to you then? You are to approach with kindness. Allah has explicitly shown us this way in the verses of the Qur'an.  Many commands of the Qur'an are not accepted by many ignorant scholars, including this one I mentioned.. There is a call to Christians to accept "La ilahe Illa Allah".   That is the command of Allah. We are to do this; that is for one. We are to invite them to Islam with the kindest manner. There is a verse of the Qur'an in that extent. And a Muslim is obliged to; Amr bil Ma'roof wa nahi anil munkar  [call to the truth and forbid the wrong]. Every Muslim is obliged to perform this duty.
