Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Samsun Aks TV dated September 23rd, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: "Master, salam. You have mentioned profundity and being a profound person. Could you please explain exactly what profundity is? Have a nice evening." Ms. Ahu Guray. Actually without profundity beauty does not have any meaning. What is left behind? Eating pizza and sitting back. What remains back is a crude life. Allah has hidden all nice feelings inside profundity. For instance faith stands when Allah is loved deeply. It comes with deepness, right? This stands when one fears Allah with awe. For instance, one feels pleasure only when he loves his lawful wife deeply. Otherwise, woman is not something impressive. Woman has no such power. She is an ordinary person with eyebrows, eyes and all, she is just an ordinary human being. When the power called profundity, the power called passion steps in, a woman turns into an extraordinary creature. She turns into a surprisingly exciting and surprisingly impressive power. This is hidden inside a woman. A woman can only offer this to her lawful husband who is smart, who really loves her and whom she finds sincere and truly trusts. That has a mode; the woman looks for that and scans for whether that exists or not. When she sees that; if she is a smart faithful woman her brain instantly steps in. She establishes a complete connection with him; I mean she gets connected to him from five different points. If one is missing, it would break off. There needs to be a connection from all sides. When they engage in such a precise, nested connection of souls; a deep strength and a deep pleasure, that is not known to anyone, that is not known by many people, steps in. This is called passion. This exists in Paradise, it is given to Muslims. Almighty Allah makes Muslims taste some of this in this world. He makes them taste passion. But the real place for this is Paradise. Look, "In them maidens with eyes for them alone." They look at their lawful husbands with passionate eyes. But Allah says "with passion." This is mentioned in the Quran as the greatest pleasure, as the most intense pleasure. It is an intense pleasure. After passion, love has meaning. Then it becomes exciting. He then begins to be affected by her existence, character, looks, speech, tone of her voice, her figure and everything very intensely. Otherwise, for example, the woman is very beautiful but he becomes irritated. The man she is married to is very imposing and handsome but the woman feels like she is petting an ox in the house. She finds his eating irritating. She finds his sitting down irritating. He comes and hugs her, for instance but she feels like a hyena hugged her. It annoys her. That is because that connection has not been established. If there are a couple of disconnections here and there, that does not last any longer. There needs to be full connection from every side. There needs to be a connection with profundity from the point of mind, faith. She needs to be selfless, self-sacrificing, tactful and a person who thinks deep. When one gets connected to another with such crudeness.. Allah says in the verse "Man is created as weak." That connection would instantly be broken. She can no longer love him, no matter how she forces herself. She can do all she can. They say "she casted a spell on me." You've casted that spell on yourself. He says "Something happened." There is nothing happening. You are casting a spell on yourself. You are looking for trouble. So Allah gives you the trouble. "I used to love her so much." You did not love before, you only fancied. He says "It is all gone over a night; how did that happen?" His desire is gone within an hour. However, he is curious about her, he fancies her; that is all. When his fancy is gone; it ends, that is all. There is nothing else. What they call a honeymoon is those moments only. There is something he is curious about. They are curious about one another, it is all based on fancy. When the curiosity is gone, desire is gone as well. So he says "Love is over." You do not have love to end because it did not even start. For that reason passion is a special power given to believers. This is special to them only. Unbelievers, those who are deviant suffer the consequences of that throughout their lives, continuously, day and night. For example, they live with its pain at night, they get up in the morning, they instantly feel the void of that lovelessness all the time. He feels lovelessness as a giant void and hunger inside his body. He looks for it all the time and thinks about it, but believes that he cannot find it. Because they are so daunted, because there is also feebleness in their faith and they feel all daunted. His head fractures as he bumps his head to the first rock he encounters. He understands from there. He goes and hits his head to another rock. He understands that it will not go away. Then his power of love turns dead. He carries a dead body inside his soul. He carries a loveless soul. I mean he lives with a corpse. And that begins to rot him. There is no brightness in his eyes, there is no brightness in his body. He tries to revive himself. But he cannot revive. There is no enthusiasm and excitement left inside him. Lovelessness is a great disaster. And it brings about a dullness, senselessness and exhaustion in a man's face. It constantly takes away his energy. That is because a person needs love like water and breathing and air. Allah has created us like this. We are created to live with love. When there is no love, a terrible breakdown begins. And this reflects on the hands and face. I mean a person would then physically breakdown. Our Prophet (saas) says in the hadith "In the End Times, people's faces will change and deteriorate and their faces will have a dirty appearance, they will become ugly." And people have become ugly. It is very rare to find a beautiful person. It is rare, I mean look at the world; they all became ugly. Our people are bright masha'Allah. Actually this is a very broad subject but let me say only this much for now. Am I right about this?
PRESENTER:Of course, you are right.
ADNAN OKTAR:In what way we are right, tell me a little.
PRESENTER:You know what they always say; "the light inside a beautiful person and the honesty in her heart reflects on her face or her eyes." I think that is why you are saying it.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha'Allah. That is right.
PRESENTER:Beauty comes with faith. I am talking by taking what you said about the End Times as an example. Because many people in the End Times are diverted, because they have no beauty in their hearts, because it is not reflected on their faces, ugliness continues.
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, he [Our Prophet (saas)] says "There will be distortion on faces." Our Prophet (saas) even says that some people's appearance will look like those of monkeys. He says "They will become like monkeys." The man is already saying "I am a monkey." Right? Millions of people, hundreds of millions of people, when you ask "What are you?" say "I am a monkey." Allah turns him into a monkey. His life is like that of a monkey; his personality is like that of a monkey so he becomes a monkey. What is meant in the hadith is the man confirming that he is a monkey. He [Our Prophet (saas)] says "They will turn into monkeys." And this one says that he is a monkey anyway. Look it is very meaningful; he does not say anything else, he just says he is a monkey. Of course.
PRESENTER:Evolution.
ADNAN OKTAR:Evolution. Look this is very meaningful. Our Prophet (saas) is saying this 1400 years ago..
