Let them talk. The more they talk the more your spirit of Islam will increase. For instance he says "there are attacks against the Muslims". My brother, you wouldn't wake up any other way. They will attack, they will swear, insult, beat, curse,  burn down your home etc., only then the public spirit of Islam boils over with rage in Muslim; it wouldn't any other way. What does Bediuzzaman say?  "The public spirit of Islam boils over with rage and the Mahdi will take the lead and lead the way to the truth and right." Or else you would sleep, you would fall asleep in your house. You would eat your meal, your rice, feel sluggish and fall asleep. As they attack the sanctities, as people talk against Allah and religion, as the houses of the Muslims are destroyed, as Muslims are martyred; what happens to a Muslim? His spirit of Islam would boil over with rage. That is how Allah created. Moreover Allah says this in the Qur'an; "What reason could you have for not fighting in the Way of Allah – for those men, women and children who are oppressed?" Allah asks why do you not fight, strive for and preach the religion, for the approval of Allah. Note how Allah stimulates, do you see that? Do you see how Allah excites the public spirit of Islam. Look; by mentioning women and children Allah grabs us from our most sensitive veins.  That is because when something is done to a child, for instance when a harm comes to an adult we would give an average reaction. But when children are involved people boil over. Right? People got all worked up like this in many incidents. For instance, may Allah forbid, they kill a child and the public flies into a rage, they boil over; but the other is considered as an ordinary incident, but of course an adult being killed is also a very atrocious thing.. For instance a woman; our nation is very sensitive about that as well; for instance when a woman is oppressed the reaction would be harsher. That is because there is a protective feeling in the soul; a woman is much more delicate, gentler and physically weaker, this offends people very much. I mean martyring a person who cannot defend herself or hurting her or oppressing her would enrage one. For that reason Allah draws attention specifically on them. And the elderly; for instance crushing an elderly, causing them pain, [causes rage] right? That is because he cannot protect himself; "What reason could you have for not fighting in the Way of Allah – for those.." says Allah.  Right? For the ones who "..say, 'Our Lord, take us out of this city whose inhabitants are wrongdoers!"

ALTUG BERKER:  They say " Give us a protector from You!" in the verse.

ADNAN OKTAR: Look; they say "Give us a protector from You!"  That means ; "Give us Mahdi", "Protector," they say. What does a "protector" mean? It means Hazrat Mahdi, insha'Allah.
