Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Kackar TV dated December 17th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: I sometimes receive criticisms from the students of our Master Huseyin Hilmi Isik and sometimes I receive the same criticisms from the students of our Master Fethullah [Gulen] as well. They tell me; "Why are you talking to bareheaded ladies?"
Allah Allah.. My brother do we not see what we see in TGRT [Turkish TV Channel] correctly? Are there not parties with women, with songs, with instruments and all that? Do they not have such entertainment shows?
ALTUĞ BERKER: They do Master
ADNAN OKTAR:When there are ladies, all of them are ladies who do not cover their heads. Do I see it wrong? Right? All the teachers at their schools are bareheaded ladies and the young girls coming are all bareheaded. Most of the young girls in Master Fethullah's schools are bareheaded. Most of the female teachers are bareheaded and male students are talking to those female teachers and the female teachers are talking to the male students face to face. The male teachers are talking to young girls as well; they are altogether doing lessons, talking. When there is all those, what is more when there are entertainment programs on Samanyolu TV Channel in which young ladies are shown and some even dance and talk, I mean when all these are so out in the open, I really am puzzled by them being uncomfortable with me talking to these Muslim people here and I am astonished about that. That is weird. I have said this before our Prophet (saas) used to go to the Sud'Ukaz. There are women there, women who do not cover their chests; and our Prophet was preaching religion to them in that environment. Most of the women were uncovered. For instance the Queen of Sheba comes and speaks with the Prophet Solomon (pbuh), and she even bared her legs to get into the water as she thought that shiny floor paved with glass was water and wanted to get in it. There is a long conversation she had there with the Prophet Solomon (pbuh), they talk to each other. They talk face to face, Prophet Solomon (pbuh) does not turn his back to her. When the Prophet Moses (pbuh) comes across those two ladies mentioned in the Qur'an, what do they say? They say that he is a strong and trustworthy person. They are not wedded to him. How did they understand that he is strong? That means that they looked at him and saw, right? How did they understand that he is trustworthy? That means that they talked to him and understood. Right? Don't do this. But, for instance, those same women do not go by the shepherds. That means women do not talk to such churl, ruffian mobs. That is left to their wisdom. If the man is bovine, if he is boneheaded, she doesn't talk to him. But if he is a Muslim fearing and obeying Allah, if he is reasonable and trustworthy, she talks to him. That is the measure. If she finds herself to be safe she would speak to that person. There is nothing complicated in this. I am not saying anything wrong. These are all from the verses of the Qur'an.
