Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Kanal Avrupa and Cay TV dated February 6th, 2011
ADNAN OKTAR: But this is very important; look, one should worship Allah for the good pleasure of Allah and not for Paradise. Allah regards that acceptable. One should target the good pleasure of Allah. If He grants us Paradise by His Grace, of course we would be honored and be satisfied with it. But our actual aim should be gaining the approval of Allah, insha'Allah. This is the noble and beautiful thing to do. Look, satan behaved vile, right? How beautiful it is that we have faith without ever seeing Allah and accept to give our lives. What a beautiful love this is. This is what Allah approves. For instance we devote our youth, we devote our lives and possessions; Allah approves this very much. But otherwise, for instance an Angel's acceptance of Allah.. An Angel is obliged to worship Allah anyway. I mean, for an angel there is no other alternative way. But for man; he is in a situation that could see both of the paths. I mean he can either go to blasphemy or to Islam. But he acts for Allah and loves Allah with such an enthusiasm that he can sacrifice his life for Allah even though he didn't see Him. Allah approves this very much, and so do we. I mean this is the most beautiful scene in the world. This is the most pleasing scene. This is the most noble scene and this is also the most beautiful adornment of the world. Love; the most beautiful feeling is love. And this is the most beautiful expression of love; to sacrifice your life.. to sacrifice your life for Allah, for the loved one. Or it is giving all your life, your youth, your possessions and everything to Allah. That is a very noble behavior. This is the most beautiful expression of love. Love many times could be provisional. But in this; there is no provision, you just want the approval of Allah. That is very noble and very beautiful. And this is the most beautiful adornment of the world. Or else what is the world? There could be chairs, gardens and all; but they would mean nothing, if one does not love Allah, if one does not fear Allah, they would have no meaning.
