ADNAN OKTAR: In general, our brothers should feel at ease about matters like surgery. Surgeries, especially lately and in our time, are very simple. They anaesthetize and the person remains in a state of sleep, all calmed; we have quality doctors who are experts and who know their jobs very well. They complete the surgery within 5 minutes, 15 minutes or half an hour; and they get up all healthy. Look at our brother Metin. Right? He went and donated his liver to his mother. They took two third of his liver and he is very healthy, he has nothing wrong. He felt no pain, no ache, nothing happened; he got up in a short time. His mother is also very healthy. Our mother is very fettle masha'Allah. She has been praying day and night masha'Allah.

ALTUĞ BERKER: You have been an instrument in that Master, insha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, masha'Allah, Alhamdulillah. Therefore one should not make much of surgery. People around should not make much of that either. How do you go to bed at night? Does the person not faint at night? You go to sleep and wake up in the morning. Surgery is also like that. You get admitted and you get up after half an hour or an hour; that is all. If he has pain they would give him medicine for pain relief and the pain would be gone. It would be better day by day; even better one day later and better one day later; and he would earn good deeds. The world is a place of trial, it is an environment for trial. Allah shows us ourselves how much sacrifice we will do for Him, how much we love Allah. Because if we are egoistical and selfish, may Allah forbid, a person like this would have no place in Paradise. But if he is self-sacrificing, if he has submitted to Allah, if he is submissive to Allah for all that come from Allah, he would deserve Paradise by the leave of Allah. Insha'Allah.  Allah provides such means for this to be seen by us. These are essential in the environment of trial. There would be no Paradise without pain, hardship and difficulty. Almighty Allah reveals in the verse. “Or did you suppose that you would enter the Garden without facing the same as those who came before you?” This is the verse of the Qur'an. That is a necessity. People are either cut in a war or in a surgery or have a car accident; they are tested for sure. One either gets sick, has cancer, gets ulcer, or has some disease in one part of his body. So people go through trials for sure, insha'Allah.
