It is forbidden by religion for a Muslim to stay in an environment where the religion is -Allah forbid- mocked.

ADNAN OKTAR: "Do those who take the unbelievers as protectors, rather than the Muslims, hope to find power and strength with them? Power and strength belong entirely to Allah." We see some crooked scholars; they have made friends with raging enemies of religion, low men who are known to be sordid and slavish by everybody and whom society is fed up with. He is very close with them. He is under their protection. The verse draws attention to these men. "It has been sent down to you in the Book that when you hear Allah's Signs being rejected and mocked at by people, " see that the verse is going on ".. you must not sit with them till they start talking of other things. If you do you are just the same as them." You look at the man, in his own stupid mind he is mocking the religion. The other stupid man is watching them grin and mock with an open mouth and is becoming a partner to them and preparing an environment for them and providing them subjects to mock and have fun. Look how Almighty Allah emphasizes in the verse; Surat An-Nisa: 139; I seek refuge with Allah from the satan; "Do those who take the unbelievers as protectors, rather than the Muslims." They say inappropriate things to believers and accuse believers of being profane but make friends with fierce unbelievers. Allah says that they take unbelievers as protectors. "..[do they] hope to find power and strength with them?" So this one says; "The man has a circle and he is very strong and dominant around his circle" and he thinks that if he sides with him and fawns all over him, he might be effective. "Power and strength belong entirely to Allah," says Allah."It has been sent down to you in the Book that when you hear Allah's Signs being rejected," when the verses of the Qur'an are being rejected, ".. and mocked at by people, you must not sit with them till they start talking of other things. " Let alone not sitting with them, this one gets so close that he is within an inch of them. Look Allah says; "Do not sit with them." What is a Muslim going to do? He will slam the door and leave. What does this one do? He fawns all over them. He acts like a clown. He engages in buffoonery, trying to make them laugh. "If you do you are just the same as them. Allah will gather all the hypocrites and unbelievers into Hell."
