ADNAN OKTAR: "As-Salamun alaykom Master Muhammad Adnan. I am one of your young students insha'Allah" he says. "I announced myself as your student," he says. This is nice masha'Allah. "Master in the hadiths about Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) it is said that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will have a black beard, insha'Allah. We believe that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will live for long years insha'Allah. According to this, is he going to have a black beard when he gets old as well?" Of course this is meant for when he first appears. How could it be for always? The first known moment is told. Of course people change insha'Allah.

But our Prophet (saas) says that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) appears young in his later ages as well.  Nothing happens to that blessed person. Insha'Allah, by the leave of Allah. He asks; "Or is it black when he first begins to preach the religion? Or how will it be?" I think that in the future, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)'s appearance will be like that of Prophet Jesus (pbuh). His hair and beard will also look like the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) I believe. That is because he loves him very much, he would look like him. He would probably look like him; you will see insha'Allah. Of course it says in the hadiths that his hair and beard is black. If it is black it is black; it will always be black. Our Prophet (saas) was dying his hair with a mixture of henna and ketene dye. This is in the hadiths. He used to dye insha'Allah. It was giving a darker appearance to his hair. Our Prophet (saas) was dying his hair with a herbal dye and redness was seen from place to place. Sometimes redness prevailed and his hair looked like the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) in that respect. Insha'Allah. We will insha'Allah look like the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) in future, we will all look like the Prophet Jesus (pbuh), insha'Allah. Because he [Our Prophet (saas)] says "Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) looks very much like the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)" so his countenance looks very much like his. He will look like the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) in terms of appearance. This points out to that but we see in the hadiths that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)'s hair is black. He[Our Prophet (saas)] says "His hair and beard is black." Our Prophet (saas)'s hair and beard was also black. And his wives were using that dye he used. It is related in the hadith that he used it together with his wife. Henna and ketene as far as I remember, if I am not mistaken, he was mixing the two to provide a dark color. But our Prophet (saas)'s hair was dark right till his death; his hair was black. Our Prophet (saas) was wearing a herbal oil with a beautiful odor; he was putting a rose-scented herbal oil on his hair and his hair was shining all bright and smelled very nice. When he did not put that oil on, the white hair was showing. There were a few white strands in our Prophet (saas)'s hair and beard but when he put that oil on, it was getting even darker; its blackness was getting even darker and then it did not show that much. But our Prophet (saas) used hair dye. He had used a herbal dye mixed with henna, black dye and red dye. Since we did not see Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) yet; I cannot say anything but since it is said in the hadith that they look alike; so they look like one another in terms of appearance. This means his hair will look alike as well insha'Allah.
