ADNAN OKTAR:For example, for a person in the belief of Ahl Al-Sunna; we are telling all the portents about Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). For example, I am asking; I talked to a brother of ours yesterday. I asked "According to you are the portents of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) correct?" He said "Yes, they are." I asked "Where could he have emerged?" He said "He should have emerged in Istanbul." I asked "Are the statements of Bediuzzaman correct?" He said "They are correct as well." I said "So he is in Istanbul at the moment, are you looking for him?" He said "No, I am not. But I am sure, I am sure that he is in Istanbul."

How could a Muslim do this? The Prophet (saas) heralds him, it is heralded in the Torah and the Gospel as well. That person is someone one could meet only for once in the whole world. Look meeting that person has not been granted to people throughout the history of the world and such a blessing is granted to a handful of people in the End Times. He can be met only for once. And this does not interest the man even though he is a pious Muslim, he doesn't even give it the time of the day. For instance, I am counting the portents and ask "What do you say about these portents?" He says "True, all these portents have been realized. All of them; the comet, sun and moon eclipses, all these have happened. All of these are correct." How about outlying portents? He says; "these could also happen." He says "Istanbul" as the location. He says "Time is right as well." When I ask "Are you looking for him? Did this concern you?" He says "No. There is no such thing." What does this mean? This is the spell of the dajjal (anti-messiah). For example, I look into his eyes and his eyes are really frozen. He is like paralyzed with the effect of the spell. I've been thinking. If I were living in the time of our Prophet (saas) and they would say that our Prophet (saas) has emerged; I would have turned the place upside down. If they'd said that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) emerged; I would have turned the place upside down. If they'd said that the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) emerged I would have turn the place upside down. This is a very big incident. Would I say "What is it to me?" Alright, I say "You are not interested in Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). How about the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)? The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will come. Does that not concern you either?" He says "That does not concern me either."

But this brother of ours is very precise. He is Ahl Al-Sunna and he is very precise for the religion. Satan turned people towards a completely different line about what to be precise about and what not. Whereas he needs to feel great love for Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and look for him with love of Allah. For example it is said in the hadiths "Scholars are looking and will look for him." My brother if you believe those hadiths then look for him. Right?  Look for him even if you cannot find him. I mean you are not obliged to find him to look for him.. For instance, a person loses her child. She goes like crazy and looks for him with all her might. You have lost Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). You cannot find Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). How could you not look for him? How could this not concern you? If Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) does not concern you, then the Prophet (saas) would not concerning you either. If the Prophet (saas) does not concern you then –may Allah forbid- Allah would not concern you either. Right? Nothing would concern you. This is a chain reaction. Because if a person whom the Prophet (saas) focused on this much and whom he heralded and whom Bediuzzaman told in so much detail, does not concern you then which command of the religion would concern you? I am not telling you to go and say that x person is Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). But you are obliged to look for him if you do believe. Right? One would be looking for him, saying; who could he be, where he might be; a person would be curious.  What is more the locations are so narrowed down that the place is certain, the time is certain, the method is certain, his appearance is certain; everything is out in the open. In this case what is the thing that a Muslim will do? It  is to search. When your wallet is missing you look for it like crazy. Right? When your jewelry is missing you look for it like crazy. You get stressed out and you cannot sleep till the morning. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is missing for you now, he is ghaib (missing). You cannot find or see him. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is missing as long as you cannot find him. "Ghaib [Missing]" is the name for Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), he is the ghaib (missing) one. If one is not found, if the place of something is not known then it is missing. Right?  What does one do when something is missing? It is searched. Do you search for him or did you ever think of searching? Let alone searching he says "I did not even consider searching." There are many brothers like this. My brother, you do not feel the need to search for the person whom the Prophet (saas) praised in hundreds and thousands of hadiths. You do not feel the need to look for the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) revealed in the Quran with three verses. You do not feel joy about his coming. You do not feel excited about the necessity of the Unity of Islam. You do not feel excited for Muslims to get united. But they feel indulgence for their scholars or people whom they know well. My brother for example say; "My sheikh can be Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)." I would also accept that. Say "I do not feel the need to search for him as I found him." He says "He is not him either." So what is your problem then? You believe even in the most impossible superstitions. You believe in the most impossible hadiths. What I am telling you are authentic hadiths. I am telling from Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi and Sunan Nasai and Sunan Dawud. And there is the happiness of the world at the end. Right? There is the Unity of Islam. How could this not concern you? Here is the severity of the system of the dajjal (anti-messiah).
