OKTAR BABUNA: Master, you have mentioned the two sons of the Prophet Adam (pbuh) as an example to the hypocrites' desire to spill blood. The other wants to kill him.

ADNAN OKTAR: Cane and Abel, yes. One is innocent but the other is a hypocrite. He has the character of a hypocrite and he is sick. And in every hypocrite there is the tendency of murder. That is the wisdom of Allah; it is very strange, for instance. They all have that; Allah created them this way and it is a characteristic of the satan, it is an evil characteristic. And all of them has a great feeling of jealousy. A severe feeling of jealousy.. And they suffer from that day and night. They cannot live in peace and they live in constant pain as if they are in Hell. Jealousy burns them out from the inside; the feeling of jealousy.  Since a Muslim does not feel jealousy; he only feels envy and thus his heart is always at ease. For instance, when he sees a beauty, he says "May Allah make it more beautiful." But he also says "Insha'Allah May He make me more beautiful as well."  If one is rich, he says "How nice. May Allah increase his wealth and may He make me rich as well."

What does the hypocrite do? He says "May Allah take away his wealth and make me the only rich one."

Allah says that the hypocrite's prayer is not accepted and that it actually is a trouble for them. The hypocrite prays but he prays for evil. The hypocrite also has such a characteristic. Today, after the morning prayer, while I was reading the Qur'an, I have underlined this and taken some notes about this as it drew my attention, insha'Allah.
