ADNAN OKTAR: [ Master Fethullah Gulen says] "When we look into the hadiths we would come face to face with Mohammed Mahdi (pbuh)" and he says- look this is really very essential here- "Companions did not give this much detailed information in any other matter, not even in the faith related judgments" Faith related judgments meaning; salat (prayers), fasting, alms; all other matters about the religious provisions. "Not in even in such matters," he says, "did the companions give such extensive information.  The hadiths  related with Hazrat Mahdi are mutawatir hadiths." Consequently, those certain people who deny Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), would also be denying all the bases of the Ahl-al Sunnah creed as well, when they deny Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). That is because when the hadiths related with religious judgments are compared with the hadiths related with Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) , we see that the hadiths related with Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) are much more than the others and that they were related by much more companions. If they deny Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) there will be no Ahl-al Sunnah creed remaining. I mean it would be completely gone, gone as it is. Neither will the Shia belief nor the Jaferite belief would remain, nothing would remain. They should know this. Consequently belief in the system of the Mahdi (pbuh) is incumbent on a Muslim. Belief in the descent of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) is incumbent on a Muslim; I mean it is a religious obligation. There cannot be any other claim.  In the Hanafi, Hanbali, Malaki and Shafi'i schools there is an unanimity on this; they all say the same things. And all through the Six Major Hadith Collections, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) has been explained very extensively. Furthermore some other hadiths have become mutawatir since they have been realized. I mean now there are mutawatir hadiths and there are also weak hadiths. The weak hadiths [became mutawatir] as well, since they have been realized exactly as said; for instance our Prophet (saas) says that "the water of the River Euphrates will be halted"  and it really is halted; it has thus become a mutawatir hadith. In the hadiths it is stated that there will be a raid in the Kaaba in the year Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) appears; that happened and the hadith became a mutawatir hadith.  He [Our Prophet (saas)] says that there will be solar and lunar eclipses; [and they happened] and they thus became mutawatir. Consequently more than 100 other hadiths have thus become mutawatir. When this is combined with the hadiths related by the companions; it became impossible to deny the system of the Mahdi. The subject matter is locked from that on.
