Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Gaziantep Olay TV dated November 2nd, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: He [Muslim] looks with a sharp attention, a sharp sincerity and a sharp candidness. I mean he does not drift with the tide. He only looks with the fear of Allah. He says "If you look in this manner you would recognize Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)." This is what Bediuzzaman said. This is what "You would recognize him if you look through the light of faith" means. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will defend love, mercy and compassion. His opposites will say "Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will not come. The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will not come." They will defend lovelessness, bigotry, coldness and hate. For instance look, when I defend love, people get shocked. The supporters of the dajjal (anti-messiah) get shocked. They say "Where did you come up with this love?" I ask "What do I have to do?" He says "Hate is required. An ice-cold face is required." He's used to wood faced men with bone heads, to stone headed people. He is trying to include me inside that filth. I would not enter into that filth. I am a man of love. I am a man whose heart effervesces with love of Allah. I am a man who lives love to the fullest. And I am very steadfast about lawful and unlawful acts. I would never commit an unlawful act. Never ever; I would never ever get into the smallest unlawful act. I act very steadfast. But I also live love to the fullest. I experience elation to the fullest. I do say that I am a fun loving person. I do live in joy, elation and happiness with the love of Allah. But I make compromises from the Quran. I would never commit an unlawful act, insha'Allah. Insha'Allah. A person's bones would be broken because of guilty conscience. May Allah forbid. For instance, I have never delayed my prayer; not once Alhamdulillah. I am taking precautions in a variety of ways. While sleeping as well, I both caution my friends who are awake and set the alarm or use other means. It is impossible for me to miss a prayer. It is impossible by the leave of Allah. It is impossible. May Allah forbid. The world would collapse on my head if something like that happens. May Allah forbid.
