ADNAN OKTAR: Ms. Dilara wrote this; "As-salam, my beautiful, one and only, saintly faced Master Mohammed Adnan. Master, as you have also stated before, our Lord reveals in the verse as follows; -I seek refuge in Allah from the satan- "Only argue with the People of the Book in the kindest way - except in the case of those of them who do wrong" [Surat al-'Ankabut; 46]"

We look at some other scholar (Cubbeli) and we see that the man says completely different things to us. Now are we going to believe in the words of that person or in the words of Allah? Of course we will believe in Allah. Look; "Only argue with the People of the Book in the kindest way - except in the case of those of them who do wrong - saying, 'We have iman (faith) in what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to you." We have faith in the Qur'an and in the Gospel as well. "Our God and your God are one and we submit to Him'." Surat al-'Ankabut; 46.Allah says "say this" right? Once a person says "Allah is One" he would be professing that he has befriended Allah. Because I have recited this verse, because I have executed the command in this verse the man declared me an apostate.  An apostate.. there is no right to live for an apostate. I mean [in their belief] the assassination of an apostate is a religious necessity. The man[Cubbeli] gave a fatwa. He is like an imam of fetwa at the moment. He acts as if he is the imam of fatwa for all Turkey, as if he is a sultan. According to his own mind that is, in his own world. Alright, what does Almighty Allah say? " Only argue with the People of the Book in the kindest way  - except in the case of those of them who do wrong" That means with Christians and Jews; "- saying, 'We have iman (faith) in what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to you." Meaning we have faith in the Gospel, Torah and the Qur'an. "Our God and your God are One.." We believe in the same Allah, ".. and we submit to Him'."  Allah tells us; "Say these", Allah commands us "to preach." And as  a result of this they come to say "La Ilaha Illa Allah" and thus comply with the command in the Qur'an. What is this? Is this something vain? No it is not. They thus profess their friendship to Allah. The man is a friend to Allah. That is what he is according to his own statement.

Whether or not Allah accepts this; that is something different.  We do not know whether or not Allah has accepted our services, either.  It is not certain whether or not Allah would accept the services of Cubbeli. It might be that he would go in the middle of the Hell and sit in it; he doesn't know for sure. Right?

"Master, in contradiction to Cubbeli and people in his mentality our Lord says; "Only argue with the People of the Book in the kindest way." And then Allah invites them to be brothers with us in "La ilaha illa Allah". Just like you have said Master. These men step up claiming that they are scholars of the Qur'an and drag millions of people behind them to the wrong path."

Not really, millions of people.. Millions of people do actually love our Master Mahmut. He is indeed a noble person, an exalted scholar who is very deep. His face and hands are all luminous. I mean you would feel a relief as you go by him.  He indeed has a spiritual rapture. He is a man of wisdom, a man of knowledge and he is an exhilaration. I mean that is something found in Sheiks and guides. But that man, Cubbeli, is a known man. I mean I need not to say anything else. At the moment there is no one in Turkey who did not understand him. Whom ever you ask, even the children they say "oh that, we do know him". And they are very sure of their conviction, insha'Allah. In which aspect they are that much sure? I will not say what it is, of course.
