Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Kackar TV dated February 25th, 2011
ALTUĞ BERKER: In a news item published in Yeni Asya daily, it is reported that, Chief Mufti of Syria Mr. Ahmet Bedrettin Hassun, who held a press conference in the Religious Affairs building, along with Mr. Gormez the President of Religious Affairs [of Turkey], has stated the following; "as the religious clergymen we do not consider anyone shooting bullets to another as religiously acceptable in Islam" and he said: "We do not approve the fatwa (Islamic religious law) given by some certain people." He also stated that people would not get involved in such rebellions in Turkey and in Syria because democracy would prevent such rebellions. He issued a call to the leaders in the Middle East saying; "Hold the public in high esteem and administer justice."
ADNAN OKTAR:Such a thing would not happen in Syria, as Syria is under the spiritual guardianship of Turkey. I mean that might be information held far from people but Syria has already adopted that decent manner, that respectable manner, that beautiful style of Turkey anyway. Of course.. And Syria does nothing without consulting Turkey. I mean both in their foreign policy and in their domestic policy, while conducting their activities they without fail get technical information from Turkey down to the slightest detail and act accordingly.
