Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Kocaeli TV and Aba TV dated December 4th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: The system of the Mahdi means love, compassion, mercy and friendship, brotherhood. The system of the dajjal (anti-messiah) is blood, pus, ignominy, aggression and disgrace. You should not expect blood or pus from Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), you should not expect ignominy. Blood would choke the ones who expect blood from the Mahdi (pbuh). Look, for instance they were in that mentality in Iraq, Allah gave trouble to them, He devastated those who thought and defended that. Such a thing would not happen. I mean the one coming with blood would go with blood. Once you want blood Allah would choke in blood. Since Allah said that He will make [Islam] dominate without blood, one should be convinced. For instance let them open Al-Kutub as-sittah and look; Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Sunan an-Nasa'i, Sunan Abu Dawood, that is in all of them. Wouldn't the weapons be destroyed at the time of Mahdi (pbuh)? Does the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh) destroy the weapons? That is it. That means there will be no blood. My brother, how will there be blood when there are no weapons? Blood comes with the weapons. Once the weapons are gone, so would blood. That is why Yusuf, you are very much mistaken about this matter. The Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) (pbuh) did not shed blood either. Look, your name is also Yusuf. Did the Prophet Yusuf (pbuh) come to power with blood? He came with wisdom, with faith, he came to power with love, right? Did the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) come with blood? He came with love and wisdom. Did Dhul Qarnayn (pbuh) came with blood? Dhul Qarnayn (pbuh) did not shed a drop of blood. He came with his wisdom, with his knowledge, with his faith and he became the world leader. Understood? But there had been some prophets who shed blood. Allah had commanded that for them and they have done so. The ones He commanded not to shed blood did not shed blood. For instance look, the ones I have listed, these Prophets did not spill blood. But for instance the Prophet Moses (pbuh) spilled blood in streams. For instance, during the war, the Prophet Moses (pbuh) watches them from a distance. He has his staff in his hand up in the air, he raises it above and a huge combat starts, the soldiers of the Prophet Moses (pbuh) kill ten thousands of people. That also is a religious service of that time, Allah commanded that, so that is it. There is combat for them. He lowers his staff and they stop spiritually, the combat cannot go on. They start to retreat in the combat. I mean that is highly significant to demonstrate the importance of a leader. It is important to demonstrate how effective is having a leader at their head. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) raises the staff again, and the Muslims there become exuberant and they razed the idolaters to the ground at that time. It was the command of Allah [for them at that time]. There had been some defensive wars at the time of the Messenger of Allah (saas) as well; blood was shed in streams. There had been some people the Messenger of Allah (saas) had personally killed with his own hands. And also the Companions; Hazrat Omar (ra), Osman (ra) and Ali (ra), Hasan (ra), Husayn (ra) they all killed people of the unbelief, rampant and perversion. It was the command of Allah. The command of Allah in the End Times is; Almighty Allah does not want blood [in the End Times], there will be no blood. It will be just like the time of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh). Note that Almighty Allah draws attention here to the fact that it will be just like the time of Dhul Qarnayn (pbuh). Note the hadiths of our Prophet (saas). There had been no blood in the time of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh). There had been no blood in the time of Dhul Qarnayn (pbuh), right? Especially in the time of Dhul Qarnayn (pbuh) there is none insha'Allah. There is none in the time of Yusuf (pbuh) either insha'Allah. Furthermore you should trust in the hadiths. Why should you trust the hadiths? Because Suyuti is the source. If you do not trust Suyuti; that is not acceptable. Who do we cite as source? Al-Barzanji. If you do not trust Barzanji, if you do not trust Suyuti; you also give hadith reference from Barzanji. You also give hadith reference from Suyuti, right? That is a mistake, you are mistaken. There will be blood in times of Dajjal (anti-messiah), of Mahdi (pbuh). Look, there will be a blood bath in the time of the dajjal (anti-messiah) and Mahdi (pbuh). But who sheds that blood? The dajjal (anti-messiah) does. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) does not shed blood, our friends get confused by that. We do not say that there will be no blood in the time of Mahdi (pbuh); there is blood in the time of Mahdi. And there is blood in streams but it is the Dajjal (anti-messiah) who is shedding blood. And Mahdi (pbuh) is the one who is trying to stop this blood. Mahdi (pbuh) is the anti blood insha'Allah.
And look, I am giving you very sound evidence. Look, I am telling you that "he will destroy the weapons." What does destroying weapons mean? Doesn't this mean stopping blood? Look [Our Prophet (saas)] says "not even a drop of blood will be shed nor will he wake up a sleeper." I mean if you do not believe me, believe the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah. You should believe the hadiths from Suyuti, it is the hadith of our Prophet (saas). Believe in Al-Barzanji. This also has place in the works of Abu Lays as-Samarkandi, in the works of Al-Barzanji; that is in all the Works of Ahl al-Sunnah.
