Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated April 5th, 2011
ADNAN OKTAR: "There are some who claim that singing songs is forbidden by religion, could you please explain us the subject of music?" says Ms .Pinar. Well, there are some absurd songs saying things like "I rise against the destiny. What did destiny do to me? [may Allah forbid]" These are all abnormal things, they should not be listened to. I have them corrected in the computer, I have those parts extracted and I turn them into normal lyrics. But there are some very beautiful songs with instruments and lyrics as well. There are some folkloric songs etc. These are all amazing. I mean I do like zither, clarinet as well. These are magnificent. Metal mandolin, I mean fine instruments are really nice. I don't know, I do like them and take great pleasure in them. It exhilarates the love for Allah, it bares one's hearth and gives exhilaration to the heart. But the lyrics should have beautiful meanings.
Pleasant thoughts
