ADNAN OKTAR:"Why is there slavery in Islam?" Where is slavery in Islam? Every single ruling of Islam supersedes slavery. Slaves are freed for almost every offence committed. Right?  And where is this slavery? What kind of a slave are we talking here? I do not get this. For instance let us say our Prophet (saas) had a slave.. or the Companions had slaves.. How were the clothes of the slave of the Companions?  Just like the companions, they wear exactly the same clothes.. They ate the same food; they lived in the same luxury. What kind of a slave is this? Only the name is slave.  They in fact are the Masters, there is no such thing. I mean the system has superseded slavery anyway, at the moment it came. Our Prophet (saas) said; "have your slaves eat as you eat, have them wear the clothes as you wear and have them live as you do." Where is that slavery? Almighty Allah says that Muslims are brothers. That's it.. Where is slavery here? Let us say that the man is a business owner. Right? He works and he has a slave.. The business owner works and so does the slave. Where is slavery in this? The business owner is also a slave then. He eats the same food as the business owner does, he wears the same clothes as the business owner does, he sleeps in the same places, he performs his prayers in the same ranks.. Look they perform their prayers in the same ranks.. performing prayers in the same ranks.. Show me a slave here? Slavery is actually superseded anyway, where is the slave? Everyone would like to become a slave in such a situation. What slave are you referring to? Right? What slave are you referring to? Furthermore giving freedom to a slave is the compensation for almost every offence. Consequently there is nothing to be called slavery anyway.

ADNAN OKTAR:But of course if you leave Islam to the hands of cruel people, they would bring about such a system of slavery for you that you would be astonished. They would bring about such a notion of women that women would be devastated, they would be stripped off their humanity. Such an understanding of life would come about that people would be stripped off their humanity. There would be no music, no fun, no joy, no aesthetics, no beauty. Women would not be well-groomed, nor will they be clean. People would live a life like beasts. It would be horrible. We call this bigotry. Why does Almighty Allah send Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)? He sends Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) so that he would rip apart bigotry.  Without Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) there is no second way; I mean Islam would definitely slip towards bigotry. This will happen in any case without the Mahdi (pbuh) let me tell you. Without Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) the Unity of Islam would never ever be formed, it would never be formed. Allah had given that task to him, to Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). Some say "no, there is no need for the Mahdi (pbuh) I can do that." Do so and let us see then..  But you cannot.
