Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV and Kackar TV dated April 15th, 2011
ADNAN OKTAR: and there are some who keep saying "We are saddened by this", "we are grieved by this", "we are devastated". Such things are not acceptable. If a Muslim feels grief that means he does not know Islam. Why would a Muslim ever be grieved? Being grieved is rebelling against the destiny Allah created. When Allah creates something, He surely creates that with goodness and wisdom. That person might not understand it, at that moment of time, but there surely is a wisdom behind it.
Furthermore some people harped on the same string and they say "we feel sad" for something every time they speak. For instance, he says; "I have seen your face pale, I am sorry for you", "I have seen you thoughtful, I am saddened by it", "the food was not good enough, I felt sad". No such thing like feeling sad or whatsoever is acceptable in Islam. A Muslim is always joyous and very vigorous. He is a person who submitted himself to Allah and he is very peaceful. He continuously thanks Allah, saying Alhamdulillah. Yes..
ALTUĞ BERKER: Almighty Allah commands as follows in the verse; "Do not give up and do not be downhearted. You shall be uppermost if you are Muslim."
ADNAN OKTAR: That is it. Masha'Allah.
