ADNAN OKTAR: Allah specifically shows us such a period of time so that people will see the second period and be amazed by the difference in between the two periods.  For instance look at the situation people are in at the moment and look at the situation people will be in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). There is a dimensional difference in between, there will be a world of difference in between. Of course people with the anticipation of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), expect a world in which bigotry and fanaticism will be very intense. In fact the reason for the reaction towards Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is because he is not a bigot anyway. I mean in the sense that we understand, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) does not have a bigot and reactionary approach of Islam; he will bring forth a warm, loving understanding of Islam full of freedom that will remove the chains on us. Actually that is the reason why the scholar in Medina mentioned in the hadiths accuses him to be an apostate. That is again the reason why Hazrat Omar (ra) has been martyred. It is because they have defended that warm, candid line of conduct of Islam. There were furious bigots of that time, they were exactly the same with the ones of our times. They were such immoral types looking like rustlers. They have martyred Hazrat Ali (ra), Hazrat Omar (ra), Hazrat Uthman (ra) and the twelve imams one by one.  That is their mindset. And they have such a hatred towards Ahl al-Bayt and towards Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). Look they hate Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and they hate Ahl al-Bayt. As a result of this when they do not directly disclose that hatred, they express it indirectly by defaming him. I mean this is the case. The reason why they do not want Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is that they do not want the Ahl al-Bayt to dominate the world. That is because this bigot gang has a racist, fascist, insane mindset. And they would never want this to happen. But Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will make Islam dominate the world. It will happen with the creation of Allah, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) does not have any power of his own, that is the power of Allah. Allah will make Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) instrumental.
