Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Samsun Aks TV dated February 17th, 2011
ADNAN OKTAR:A sister of ours has written a letter; "My dear Master Mohammed Adnan, believe me when I say that I have not written a poem for anyone, but for anyone ever in my life until today. I do know very well that you are very smart." Only as much as Allah created me to be, Insha'Allah. Of course Allah gives intelligence there is no independent intelligence there is no independent wisdom. When you say that a man is wise; that wisdom is given to him moment by moment. When his mind is taken for instance sometimes a person forgets, nothing comes to his mind, he cannot even reason or rule over even the easiest thing. His foresight and perception becomes blind. "If you ask me why, understanding the language of women and speaking about that out loud and generously is not in the reach of everyone. If it is so, let them come up and let us see. Masha'Allah," she says. "Shall I tell you a secret? Even some women fail to understand that profound soul you have. Master by Allah, if they were to understand.. What could I say anymore. It is better that they do not understand or else I would be green with envy," she says.
Look, Allah says [to us] ; "Wamin sharri hasidin itha hasada". One takes shelter with Allah from the evil of the envious. Envy is forbidden, being envious. However jealousy is known to be sacred; "look what a jealous woman she is.. what a jealous man, he is.." Such a thing is not acceptable. Jealousy is forbidden. A person would of course be jealous of his lawful one, his loved one but he feels jealous for her not to fall in the hands of cruelty, not to go for forbidden things, not to go for evil things. That is the aim of jealousy. Jealousy is in the meaning of protection and watching over. Or else being jealous of another person's beauty, of her clothes, of her food and drink or of her being loved by many would be an abnormality. It is forbidden. Jealousy is forbidden by religion. For that reason it is not right to see jealousy as something nice.
