Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on TV Kayseri and Samsun Aks TV dated February 23rd, 2011
ADNAN OKTAR: "My Master Adnan, As-salamun Alaykom. How are you Master?" this one says. Alhamdullillah ala Kulli Hal. Wa Alayna Alaykom As-salam wa Rahmatullahi wa Baraqatuhu. "There is something that I would like to ask. Do you think that when Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) starts to perform his duty, will he have a struggle with these TV broadcasts? Atıl Alyurt."
Well, that should be asked to Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh ) when he appears, how would I know? I could only guess though. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be an emancipatory person, he will be a kind person. He will be a person that would defend friendship, brotherhood. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) would do nothing that would give people qualms of conscience, that would put pressure on their conscience. He would not do anything that might cause restlessness, that would make people sad, that would put dampers on their joy. Contrarily, he would have a personality that would increase their enthusiasm, excitement, joy and happiness, that would ensure them to feel at peace. Our Prophet (saas) says "he will not awake a sleeper." That is a statement with a very wide and extensive meaning. First of all it is understood that he would engage in a very quiet and calm struggle. This is the meaning of "He would not awake a sleeper," that is for one. But it also is understood that he would not psychologically unsettle people. If he is attentive enough to avoid waking up a sleeper, that means he will be a very decent mannered, very reasonable, lenient person. He would not have any actions that would cause pain, that would make people feel uneasy, that is what we see. Consequently Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) would not have any interference with anyone's joy and happiness, that is my conviction. On the contrary he would encourage happiness and joy. But he would be explaining things that are unreasonable and that harm everyone, he would communicate, he would show what is reasonable, and people would believe in that and not do that again. But Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is not a despotic person, he is not overbearing let me tell you this much, he would not be like that..
