ADNAN OKTAR: Offering those to a person who does not have faith, whose faith is weak.. Well, that is method of Cubbeli. He says "people should manage with the faith of a 'beldame'."  Faith of a beldame means something like faithlessness. I mean the beldame faith he mentions.. The word "beldame" is not nice anyway. "Beldame" what does that mean? Such words do not befit a Muslim's speech. So he means the faith of elderly women, meaning they do not think, they believe without putting any thought into it. Allah tells us to think, to ruminate over and to look at all the verses and evidences of Allah, and Allah tells us in the verses of the Qur'an that this would make our faith more profound.  Allah says that our faith would be strengthened with that, there is a verse in the Qur'an regarding this point. And you are using a manner of speech that does not comply with the verses of the Qur'an, you are thus using an approach that contradicts the Qur'an. Bediuzzaman says ;  "Some theoretical points that need profound investigation and experience would of course not be so obvious. And those would not be imperative so as to make everyone confirm necessarily." For that reason we are to research, investigate.. The verses of the Qur'an are clear, there are many verses that encourage science and research; and there are commands in the Qur'an which state that profound faith would come as a result of this. It would not be acceptable to pretend not to see these verses.
