ADNAN OKTAR:Now, in such matters, the satan would want to distract attention. For instance, now that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will appear, there are false Mahdis, there are many false Mahdis around. That is the same with the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh) many false prophet Jesus Messiahs have appeared. And in Jews, as you know they too have belief in the Mahdi, in their society again many false Shilohs,  Messiahs have appeared, I mean the Messiah that the Jews were awaiting, the false ones have appeared Do you know what the satan does in such situations? In order to destroy the real one, it fabricates many false ones. That is how it always is. For instance they fabricate false prophets. At the time of our Prophet (saas) as they wanted to destroy our Prophet (saas) -may Allah forbid- many false prophets have appeared at that time.. As Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) emerged now, there are many false Mahdis. Then the man says; "see there are many false Mahdis." So? "Then that means there is no Mahdi." Well, what does it have to do with it? That, on the contrary, is the evidence of the system of the Mahdi. The false Mahdis are the portents of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). The false Messiahs are the portents of the return of the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh). That is mentioned even in the Gospels. The Prophet Messiah (pbuh) says; "before I come, the false ones will appear."    And before the Mahdi (pbuh), false Mahdis would appear. What is there to be surprised about this?

Some have placed my picture among those people who openly claim to be Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). They are being canniness. You rascals, I am the harbinger of Mahdi, do not be a rip off artist. I do not have such a claim, so be relaxed. I am not fond of such fame and glory like you are. My brother, if Muslims, our brothers were to tell me "look, this person is the Mahdi," -everyone knows how compliant and how compassionate I am- I would kiss his hand with perfect respect and follow him. What difference would that make? Whoever he is, whichever community he is coming from, I would just say; "Alhamdulillah." Because; what is the goal here? It is the Unity of Islam.  Once Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) ensures that, the matter is closed. I am not charged with detecting who Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is. The general conviction of Muslims is important for me.
