ALTUG BERKER: NATO forces carried out the greatest air operation so far in Libya. The Gaddafi palace  at Bab-Aziziya being the foremost, they bombed at least 15 targets. 3 people lost their lives and 150 wounded. There are also the photos available here. The majority of the deceased were the civilians living in the vicinity. The wounded were taken to a nearby hospital. These are the photos of the deceased and the wounded.

ADNAN OKTAR: Indeed, ultimatelythey will take also Gaddafi to themorgue.He does not listen to our words; he simply does not. He grows arrogant, prideful; he acts as if he knows all the answers, he follows his nose. He has not given up that socialist mindset, he has not abandoned that communist mindset. Once they were all converted to communism; Palestine, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt. There has been a communist intervention and they still could not have cut loose from it. That Ba'ath mindset [is prevalent].

Following Israel's presence in the region, Allah knows the truth, to some extent with the spirit of competition, and also out of envy,  devoutness have quite spread in Palestine; as if they have thought, “How can they [Israel]be so devout and we don't?”  Then it spread to Egypt; Egypt also became very pious.  Otherwise, attached themselves to socialist ideology, they were the people smoking water pipes. In this respect, Israel has had a very positive impact. It has generated a spirit of competition within themselves, because they grow beards down to their bellies, they worship in order to draw close to Allah. They make effort according to their own tenets; in compliance with their religion. They looked and saw that they have worn socialist shirts, shouting communist slogans with gums in their mouths, their left hands in the air. They comprehended that this was not the path to follow and had made the decision to become also pious. They comprehended that because they were on the wrong path and had erred that Allah had inflicted trouble on them and thus they also became devout and still making effort to become more pious. If Israel had not been present in the region, trust that this [such a progress] would not have occurred. That is, a great majority would simply spend time doing nothing. A great majority. Of course there would be some devout but it would not be to this extent. At this point Israel had a very positive impact, Insha'Allah, because they wanted to be more perfect, much better, more devout. It is as if they thought, “If they [Jews]are devout, why don't we become more devout.”  The progress had become very rapid; or else, they were ferocious communists. Syria was sheer communist. Atheism, darwinism were unusually widespread. Materialism was prevalent; Ba'ath regime was a communist regime. Iraq was communist, the Ba'ath regime; there was the Darwinist, materialist, atheist regime. Morrocco, Tunisia, Algeria were all no different; all the way down to Libya. When Israel came and religious attire, beards, remembrance of Allah, acts of worship were widely seen, and considering that they [Jews]defeated them despite their being few in number, they grasped that the matter is related with piety. Those without a religion were being defeated while the devout triumphed. Then, they said, we would also become devout. This is the root of the matter; otherwise the entire region would be communist from head to toe by now. In other words it was gone, of course.

OKTAR BABUNA: There were also terrorist camps in Palestine; you have recurrently mentioned it Master.

ADNAN OKTAR: There was one single school where all communists in Turkey went; a single university, the communist university. Leninist university, there was the terror university. And it was only in Palestine and there was no other. Communists here went there in groups to get training. When piety kept snowballing in Israel, Islam also snowballed in those regions through the spirit of competition. Bediuzzaman was aware that such a thing would happen. He said, “Through the vein of envy and competition.” This is related in [his work ] the  History of Life, Insha'Allah. Bediuzzaman wrote it in-between the lines there; that is, he said that Muslims would experience an awakening with a tendency of progress; through the spirit of envy and competition.

ALTUĞ BERKER: Masha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Insha'Allah. This is the case in many places. Some people take pleasure in taking an example. That is, they are impressed. For instance an intellectual. For instance Cat Stevens. He is Cat Stevens there, right?

ALTUĞ BERKER:Yes Master. He also said that the Islamic world is awakening.

ADNAN OKTAR: See that when he became pious many other celebrities also followed him. Taking an example is very important. We hosted Cat Stevens a few times in our home. He is very decent, he loves me a lot.

ALTUĞ BERKER: Masha'Allah Master.

ADNAN OKTAR: He is very modest; he serves Islam well and he will have other services ahead, Insha'Allah. But when a celebrity converts Islam we see that his neighborhood, the people around him, his friends also convert Islam even without reading anything, without reading about Islam and studying the Qur'an. They simply envy him; the vein of envy is very important. For instance when a person known to be informed and of a quality character converts Islam, many a people among the ignorant envy him and convert to Islam. This is the way it is. Therefore when the system of Hazrat Mahdi (as)  prevails, Islam will spread all of a sudden. It will happen through the vein of envy. That is, one of the basic reasons is the vein of envy Insha'Allah.
