OKTAR BABUNA: There was a news item about drugs. Global Commission on Drug Policy in which  there are globally renown personalities and famous statesmen such as former president of Mexico Ernesto Zedillo, the owner of Virgin Airways Richard Branson, United Nations Former General Secretary Kofi Annan, the Prime Minister of Greece Yorgo Papandreau, President of American Central Bank Paul Walker, yesterday made a call for legitimizing drug use. In the report published by the commission it is  stated that the war on drugs has been lost, that drugs have caused the death of thousands of people and that drug users should not be turned into criminals with a criminal record. Very prominent personalities said that drugs should be legitimized.

ADNAN OKTAR:  People are using them fiercely anyway. Without the love for Allah, without the fear of Allah, the body becomes tense. When one does not live for the approval of Allah, the body would become tense. The body starts to rebel itself. The whole body starts to become tense. His mouth becomes tense, his arms become tense, his eyes, his stomach become tense. And then they start to look for the solution in drugs, they start to look for the solution in relaxant drugs. Almighty Allah explains the reason for such constriction. Allah says that they would feel their breasts narrow and constricted as if they were climbing up into the sky. He says that they would feel very uncomfortable. But if they hold on to the Qur'an and hold on to Islam, a relaxation, a relief, serenity, peace, calmness and tranquility occurs. Their hearts would expand.. Allah says in the verse, I seek refuge with Allah from the satan, "By the late afternoon, truly man is in loss except for those who have faith and do right actions and urge each other to the truth and urge each other to steadfastness." That means the ones who are sincere and who preach the religion, the ones who are steadfast, who urge each other the truth.. these are the exceptions. I mean the real Muslims, the students of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).. Allah says that they would have a serenity and calmness, a beauty insha'Allah.
