Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated June 16th, 2011
ALTUG BERKER: Master, in one of your interviews from 2009 you have said; "Every patient is in our responsibility as a nation, being ill is not a crime, it is an honor, it is a glory. And their responsibility is on us. Once he gets ill, that brother of ours is entrusted to us from that on, he is entrusted to us as a nation. We will look after that person very well. We will be responsible from his eating, drinking, from his comfort, from his joy and happiness, we will be responsible for everything about him." Following such statements that you frequently make, many reforms are made in Turkey regarding health care. And recently the era of treating patients at home has started. For the patients unable to go to a hospital, the health care they need will now be provided at their houses in their family environments and 60 thousand patients benefit from this home-care service, insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha'Allah.
ALTUG BERKER: Additionally, medical equipments are also brought to their houses when necessary.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha'Allah. Yes.. This will improve even further. The era of paying for hospitals will insha'Allah be closed. The era of paying for doctors will be closed. The era of making payments in the pharmacies will be closed. This is a very weird thing. I mean the man will get ill and then will be asked for money.. H ow is that acceptable? I mean, this is a duty of all Muslims towards one another, under no conditions money should be taken from ill people. This is a step for that. May Allah be pleased with them, that is a good progress. But eventually, at the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) the style I've just mentioned will be implemented. Insha'Allah.
