Erudite explanations from Surat Al-Kahf: Eyes should always be on beauty, goodness and the truth

ADNAN OKTAR: Surat al-Kahf.. Let us start from the 28th verse. I seek refuge with Allah from the satan. "Restrain yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, desiring His Face." Here it is, look,we do call on Allah morning and evening as well. At 10:00 in the morning and at 10:00 in the evening, right? What does Almighty Allah say? ".. who call on their Lord morning and evening," only asking for the approval of Allah, not for money, not for any kind of interest, not for sustaining life, but for what? Only asking for the most of the Approval of Allah; "..with those who call their Lord". Restrain yourself patiently with those who establish connections with Allah, who pray to Allah, who wants beauties from Allah. That means; "be decisive on this, continue on your way." Let there be no change, no getting bored from that- may Allah forbid- or let there be no frustration, let there be no falling to weakness, let there be no falling to lack of zeal, let there be no languish; on the contrary make an increasing effort. "Do not turn your eyes from them, desiring the attractions of this world." ".. the attractions of this world" .. vain things. Do not get into vain things and stop your good work. "Do not turn your eyes from them." Let your eyes always be on beauty, goodness and truth. "And do not obey someone whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance.."One always thinks about Allah in his heart. If he is not thinking about Allah in his heart, that means his heart had been made neglectful. If he is thinking about Allah in his heart, that means he is freed from that neglect. "..whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance, and who follows his own whims and desires.."Meaning those who follow their own interests, their own egoistic ideas and those who only have earthly goals. "..and whose life has transgressed all bounds." Meaning do not obey those who are not compliant with the morality of the Qur'an, those who do not act according to the Qur'an; the fanatics are included in this, the bigots are included in this, Darwinists- materialists are also included in this; Allah says; "do not obey those.."
