Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV and Kackar TV dated June 21st, 2011
ADNAN OKTAR: Death makes a person mature, it makes a person wise. Death is a means for wisdom. It is not possible for a man to be wise without thinking about death.
ALTUĞ BERKER: Insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: It infers profundity. Yes..
GOKALP BARLAN: Master, in one of the verses, Allah says -I seek refuge with Allah from the satan- "Death, from which you are fleeing, will certainly catch up with you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible and He will inform you about what you did." Insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: Death is a means for maturity, it infers maturity, it infers love. It infers profundity. For instance, it infers generosity.. A person knows that he will die, knowing it would encourage him. It infers forgiveness. Death is a stimulation for forgiveness. I mean, when a person says; "everyone is going to die and pass away, why are you after revenge like this?" that would instantly make one's feet firm on the ground. Such a person would not have the urge to saving possessions all to himself, he would want to distribute them when death comes to his mind. When death comes to his mind, a person would know that he would be eternal, that he would live for all eternity and feel relieved. Since he knows that he will see the Manifestation of Allah, he would feel delighted by that. Since he knows, I mean, since he insha'Allah hopes, that he would meet all his loved ones and all his friends, he would feel delighted for that.
