ALTUG BERKER:I also saw this report today on the TV channels and other media means Master. The security determined those people writing blasphemous comments in the Sour Dictionary and called them to take their statements. They are about 50-55 people, Master.

ADNAN OKTAR:There was also a similar report in the Milliyet daily. They are also present in the Internet media. A lawyer came out and said; "What is wrong with insulting the sacred values and religion?" This being said, what would you do if someone insulted you? When someone insults you, you lay into them, assault them; the jacket sleeve is ripped, one of your shoes go somewhere. Why would this nation remain silent when Allah and the sacred values are treated with insolence? Under law it is a crime. It stipulates acts in law.  We would not let anyone insult our country, nation, flag, religion, faith and sacred values. These are the values that make us a nation; these are the elements that make us who we are. The guy comes out and says that he will annihilate those elements that make us who we are, that he will curse them. Then what remains left? But he can exercise his freedom of thought as much as he likes. He can communicate the message of communism, advocate and communicate irreligion if he likes, but what is the point in insulting? We would not let them insult our country, our nation, our flag, our religion, our sacred values, Allah, the Qur'an and the religion. They should put this in to their minds. We would oppose them with law because otherwise life becomes bereft of meaning. Also, when these people are insulted, they move heaven and earth. They cannot bear the slightest unbecoming word. They insult openly and indecently and then ask, "Why have you placed complaints?" What would we do? Whoever placed that complaint, may Allah bless your hands. Well done.

ADNAN OKTAR: There was also such a report in the Milliyet daily. They insult the religion, our flag, our nation and the religion, flag and sacred values will disappear. Allah forbid; what remains left? This is not freedom. You can enjoy freedom of thought; you can communicate Darwinism, communism, fascism, whatever you want. Tell them on a scientific foundation but the way to insult is closed. We also would not let anyone's mother, sister to be insulted. We prevent it through law. Also we would not let insult to religion and the sacred values. There cannot be a freedom called freedom of insulting. They will simply forget this. But freedom of thought must be fully exercised. They can advocate any philosophy, any ideology but without using foul language and insult. They stir up great fight when they are insulted themselves. They are quite intolerant. They cannot bear the simplest unbecoming word let alone insult. People should never let an insult to their country, nation and flag, the values which they live for. No one, ever. These are protected under law; they will know this. I told it several times and repeat it time and time again. I will also tell it again; we will tell this to the related people until they grasp it. They make jokes, we say nothing. They can discourse and we can talk to them. Let us be friends but we will preserve respect and courtesy insha'Allah.
