ALTUĞ BERKER: Master you always said the following regarding the incidents going on in countries like Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya; "No one could ever dare to do such things after the Turkish Islamic Union is established. The power of this union would be deterrent enough on its own." I have come across a passage in a book about the life of our Prophet (saas). On the fifth year of the hegira, in the region of Dumat al-Jandal which is 15 nights away from Medina, some Arabic tribes had united and were harming and persecuting the Muslim passengers passing by that region with convoys. Our Prophet (saas) had been informed about this and had set off with an army of 1000 people. Even the news about this army was enough for the enemies. The bandits there had been dispersed and disappeared. No one remained there and when the army of our Prophet (saas) reached that place, they had long gone. Only one person remained there and he had accepted Islam upon the invitation.   Our Prophet (saas) stayed there for two nights and waited in case they might come back. But no one came. Masha'Allah even the name of the Muslims was enough for them, so there was no need for war, insha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Well, first of all the fact that our Prophet (saas) could not be martyred all his life is a great miracle on its own. I mean the idolaters in that society, in that Arab society of the time, had only one goal and it was to kill our Prophet (saas). War starts, our Prophet (saas) gets surrounded from all quarters and he is left in the middle alone, surrounded from all quarters, the war goes on for hours and nothing happens. Now, is this normal? That is a miracle. According to my opinion this is enough on its own. My brother if a person storms into a group and gets surrounded from all quarters when the aim of all those men in that group was to kill that person, to martyr that person, and nothing happens.. And he is not even using an armor, because Allah says ; "I will protect you," in the verse. Our Prophet (saas) used to wear double armors, one over the other, but after reading that verse, after that verse is revealed, he took off both of those armors and without any protection he went into the war and nothing happened. How could that happen? Those men had maces, swords, arrows and bows.. They would certainly have done something. What does being surrounded from all quarters mean? He cannot see his back, his right, left and all his sides are surrounded. What would happen in such a situation?
