Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated June 11th, 2011
ALTUĞ BERKER: Master for years, you have been explaining that the PKK is a Stalinist, Leninist, Darwinist organization.
ADNAN OKTAR: They are communists..
ALTUĞ BERKER: Insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: My brother, we are not against the social justice aspect of Socialism and Communism. That is because they have taken that concept from the system of the Mahdi. They have taken it from the system of the Mahdi as the social justice concept belongs to the system of the Mahdi. We are against the Godless, Bookless, conscienceless, sanguinary aspect of communism and socialism. We are against the aspect of theirs that rejects family, religion and state. Or else we would of course want social justice, of course we would want to protect the poor and the workers. Who wouldn't? Right? But stepping forward as the working class. Well, saying things like classes, schools, etc. What are you doing with those? What class are you talking about? One might be a worker today and become a boss the other day. What is the meaning of those classes, etc.? These are all unreasonable words. Right? Saying things like white collar employees etc.. These are all our citizens, we are all brothers. In that brotherhood there can be the villagers and the workers, etc. We are all mixed up. For instance, my grandfather lived in a village and I also have relatives who are workers and there are some who are civil servants. What is it got to do with it? Talking about classes; now his father is a worker, his mother is a civil servant and he is a student.. do all these people belong to different classes now? What is the meaning of that anyway? They are from the same family.. "You go to your own class and I will go to mine, let him go to his own class" How is such a thing reasonable? There is no such thing. And communism has lost its influence. Back in the time it was considered to be something modern. I used to watch those English youngsters and so shouting out "Ho-Chi Minh!" back in the 71's.. Back in the time it was considered to be something modern, they were screaming out "Ho-Chi Minh! Two-three more Vietnams, thousands of greetings to Ernesto!" There were those posters of Che in side view with a cigar in his mouth. They used to find such things a bit romantic as well, going to the mountains shooting bullets at people, etc. They used to see that as bravery. My brother okay but you are also committing mass murders, you are annihilating all these religious people there and so on. There is no sweet story aspect of this. You are simply shedding blood, what is the sweet part in that? When it comes to social justice.. Where did you get that from? You have learnt it from the system of the Mahdi. Where did you learn about the system of the Mahdi? You've learnt it from the Torah. You have learnt it from the Qur'an and from the hadiths. You've all learnt about the concept of one single world from there. Where did you learn the concept of all humanity being brothers? You've learnt it from the Torah and from the Qur'an and the hadiths. So what? It is apparent that irreligiousness would never bring about happiness. Irreligiousness brings about pessimism. An irreligious person would not be happy, he would be suffering. Is there anyone who is irreligious but also happy? Show me if there is. They either end up committing suicide or they just brood.. Religion makes a person happy, opens him up, it relieves one's mind.
