Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated June 14th, 2011
ALTUĞ BERKER: There is a headline "The cry of the women in the city of Jisr Ash-Shugur" "Women living in the city of Jisr Ash-Shugur whose houses have been razed down and who had to take shelter in the school of the city had wailed. The aggrieved Syrian women who stated that even the milk they nurse their children with had been poisoned, asked "Where are the Muslims?" After the attack of the Syrian army, the little children and women of Jisr Ash-Shugur whose water and milk have been poisoned by the Syrian soldiers made a call to the world from the school they have taken refuge in. The women and children had said that they didn't even know where their relatives are, that all the houses in their city had been destroyed and that even though they wanted to go out of the city, they had been blocked. Women who then cursed Beshar Esad, made a call to the Muslim people and said; "Where are you, the Muslim, where are you?"
ADNAN OKTAR: So that is a yearning for the system of the Mahdi. That is asking for the system of the Mahdi from Allah, in the face of the siege of the dajjal (anti-messiah); that is the manner of asking the appearance of the Mahdi from Allah. Because the Muslims cannot go anywhere or do anything without a leader, uncontrolled or aimless. For instance if the ten men in a district came together and said; "leave these women free" the men would have chased them slapping and cuffing. That would not work. Instead of saying "Muslims, where are you?", it would be more accurate for them to say; "My Lord, speed up the appearance of Mahdi." That is because if call is made to the Muslims, let us say 5 people from Istanbul would come up and go there, 8 people would go from another place, that would be all messed up. Each of them would be of different mind, each of them would be from a different sect, a different community, each of them from a different tariqa (denomination).. What would they aim, what would they try to save, who would be the head in this, what would his aim be? All these would be undefined. Consequently such a movement without a leader would be defeated. There would be no Unity of Islam without Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), there would be no salvation without the Mahdi (pbuh), for that reason instead of saying "Muslims, where are you?" they should say "My Lord, make Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) appear in no time.." This is how their prayers should be. Insha'Allah. Any other way, these disasters would constantly go on, they would constantly cry out like this. Let us assume, let me say this once more; let us assume 100 Muslims were to come up from Iraq, what could they do, what would happen? Let us assume 200 people or 1000 people were to come up, what would happen? No result could be attained. What are they to do, are they going to make a fight? But with the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) there would be no need for a fight, the very existence of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) would give an end to such things. I mean the matter would be closed fundamentally. There would be no such incidents or no such events.
