Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV and Adiyaman ASU TV dated July, 11th, 2011
ALTUĞ BERKER:Our Prophet (saas) has foretold that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be instrumental in people's attaining faith, but that those whose hearts are blind would keep away from the moral values of the Qur'an. He (saas) commands as follows; "Even if someone is blind and unable to benefit from it, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be beneficial to all, as is the sun."
ADNAN OKTAR:Yes.. Well, when we say Mahdi, people's minds tend to be obsessed about one single person, in fact the system of the Mahdi means, an individual- and the people [around him]- who is/are instrumental in attaining the global dominion of Islam which is told in the whole of the Qur'an with a strong emphasis. But in the Qur'an no community mentioned without a leader is ever mentioned. Every single community certainly had a leader. For instance at the time of the Pharaoh, Pharaoh is the leader of those men there and the Prophet Moses (pbuh) is the leader of the Muslims of the time. So they are not leaderless; it is not a collective identity taking the lead and the Muslims are not divided into denominations. For instance among the people of the Prophet Moses (pbuh) if they attempt to be separated into denominations, the Prophet Moses (pbuh) immediately cleared off that separation, he wanted them to be one single community. But that is, in fact, something that the unbelievers do not accept either. Note that the Pharaoh as well say; "only my point of view will dominate." He says "only my religion will prevail." Consequently there is a constant conflict in between the two points of view; the system of the Mahdi and that of the dajjal (anti-messiah). No break has ever been given to that, this is how it was in every period. For instance, at the time of Nimrod, the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) is the leader of the Muslims of that period. Nimrod represents the system of the dajjal and he does not accept any other idea, he only accepts his own point of view. That is how it is in the time of Nebuchadnezzar as well. This is how it is in every period of history.
