OKTAR BABUNA: Kadri Gursel wrote a piece in daily Milliyet titled "Where is Turkey in the new Cold War?" "The new Cold War is between Iran and the Western system. All means will be mobilized to halt Iran." He said that Turkey is leaning towards the lie that states; "A nuclear Iran is not a danger for Turkey. Turkey thinks it can remain neutral in this new Cold War. The fact is that the West cannot fence Iran in without Turkish support. Will Turkey be able to resist this pressure?" That is what Kadri Gürsel says in Milliyet.

ADNAN OKTAR:The reason why Iran is regarded as a threat is that it believes in an invisible Mahdi. The main and sole reason for the tension in America and Europe, in Russia and China, and therefore in the whole world, is that it believes in an invisible Mahdi (pbuh). If Iran believed in a visible Mahdi (pbuh), as in Sunni belief, then America would embrace Iran. There would be no problem, but an invisible Mahdi (pbuh) is a very great danger.

The Mahdi (pbuh) is there at the door, according to Iranian belief, he is here as well, at the door, on the upper floors, in Europe and America and everywhere, like Allah, may He forbid! What kind of belief in the Mahdi is that? Please stop it. It is so dangerous. That man says, "The Mahdi (pbuh) appeared to be in the form of a light, in spiritual form, like a light. And he gave me orders." Here it is…

Well if the man would say; "I saw the Mahdi (pbuh). We were in a delegation, of administrators and military people. And the Mahdi (pbuh) said, 'You must destroy all Sunni states'." What would they do then? The Mahdi's (pbuh) command is a religious obligation, so they would have to do it. That is where the problem lies. Iran is delaying this matter.

Look, I have said this 50 times. The way of the Mahdi in Sunni belief is the true way. In other words, it does not stem from the Sunni-Alawaite business. We can look at Alawite sources if they wish, at Shiite sources. The Mahdi (pbuh) was born to a mother. He had a mother. He is a human being who grew up during his childhood. He is not someone who spent hundreds of years in a well and then stepped out. That, let me state openly, is superstition. That is out of the question. "He is inside a well" they say. Something like a deep well. They have surrounded the well with iron bars. "He will emerge from there" they say. Please!

Of course America is terribly uneasy at such a thing. The man says; "I saw him in the form of a light". What will they do if today or one day soon he says, "Allah commanded the Mahdi (pbuh), and the Mahdi (pbuh) told us"? That is why they are so uneasy.

Look, Mr. Ahmadinejad is a very sensible person. He is a warm person and he loves the Mahdi (pbuh) very much, very passionately. The same with Khamenei. They should now come together and sort this matter out. They must say "The Mahdi (pbuh) is not an invisible Mahdi (pbuh)." The Mahdi (pbuh) is a visible person. He was born of a mother and a father. He will appear from Istanbul. There are perhaps a hundred hadiths in Shiite sources saying Istanbul is the place. The place is mentioned as Istanbul. He is in Istanbul. They say he comes from the East to the West and will cross the sea.

If it happens like that, then America is ready for such a Mahdi (pbuh). The Freemasons are ready and the Knights of the Temple and everyone. They all agree with that. The CIA and FBI and everyone is ready for the idea of a Mahdi (pbuh) who espouses love, opposes bloodshed and seeks to eliminate weapons, they all accept it.

But belief in an invisible, bloodthirsty Mahdi (pbuh) is a nightmare, it is a terrifying claim. Children and everyone will be in danger then, and no friendly states will be left. Now Iran is saying, "We are friends with Turkey. But what will they do if that person says, 'The Mahdi (pbuh) commanded you to strike at Turkey'?" That is it. Right?

So the belief in an invisible Mahdi (pbuh) is a terrible corruption. They must abandon it. The whole problem in the Middle East revolves around this. In Israel, too. I have spoken to people there very recently. They no longer talk of the King Messiah. They refer directly to the "Mahdi" (pbuh).

ADNAN OKTAR:And members of the Sanhedrin speak directly of the "Mahdi (pbuh)". "May Allah send the Mahdi (pbuh)" they say. They used to speak of the King Messiah. Now they directly ask for the Mahdi (pbuh). They have no problem with that. But it is a sin to inflict the horror of an invisible Mahdi (pbuh) on people. They are causing people to suffer. America could speak of "self-defense," may Allah forbid, and do something unexpected. Right? For one thing, Israel does not feel secure. They do not know what the invisible Mahdi (pbuh) might command. But you can talk to a visible Mahdi (pbuh) and obtain guarantees and see his affection and compassion. But how can you talk to an entity that appears as a light? How can you convince him and what are you going to talk with such an entity? You are saying that "Mahdi will just command and the matter would be closed." But noone knows whom he command to strike and whom he will command to destroy.  

Look Cübbeli Ahmet says "The Mahdi (pbuh) will kill and slaughter and set everywhere against everywhere else." I've convinced Ahmadinejad, with the hadiths, that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will not shed blood. He went and spoke in the UN and other places. They understood that part, that he will not shed blood, that he will do away with arms. I said, "He must state that before the press time and time again." And he did so, may Allah be pleased. But they cannot act on this idea of the invisible Mahdi (pbuh) as that is what the Iranian people believe.

They are worried about the public reaction. Because the public are very much convinced that Mahdi (pbuh) will be invisible. But persuading the public is possible, it is easy to do. You need an assembly of the ulema. We can talk to them. May be a meeting can be held in secret. The idea of this invisible Mahdi (pbuh) is a justified falsehood. How can Mahdi (pbuh) be invisible? They must say: "Belief in an invisible Mahdi (pbuh) is wrong, it is a justified falsehood perpetrated to date in order to protect the Mahdi (pbuh). But since the time of the Mahdi (pbuh) has come, there is no need to protect him any more, no need for any more justified lying, so we can do away with it." And they must declare that the Mahdi (pbuh) is a visible person. The Iranian Parliament should meet in the city of Qum, insha'Allah, and pass a resolution that the Mahdi (pbuh) is visible. And that will put an end to it. America wants someone that he can speak to..
